Loving this pattern for a baby blanket. Would you put a border around it?
Do you have this video for left handers?
I have lots of Aran yarn can I do this blanket in the Aran?
Yes absolutely! It would be great 😊
Hi want to do this with two strands what hook size do you recommend the wool recommends a four
I would probably use a 6 if I wanted the stitches quite tight, but if I wanted a looser feel then I’d use a 7 or 8mm 🌸
does anyone know the name of this stitch?
This yarn is not safe for babies at all. He fibres come on that baby can inhale
There’s nothing dangerous about chenille yarn for babies.
I've used chenille yarn for both my Grandaughters when they were babies James c Brett Flutterby is Baby yarn
There’s quite a lot of these yarns that are specifically made and sold as baby yarns ☺️🌸 But of course, it’s all about personal preferences too!
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that yarn, I’ve made several baby blankets over the years and all the babies family and friends are all grown adults and some w/children of their own.
You may not like it and I totally understand that but, why come out so strongly about it not being good for babies. Everyone has their preferences and what they want to use. Calm down.
Just careful not gaps. When my son was a baby he got his finger caught in a blanket someone made and it somehow wrapped around his head. If I didn't check on him why he stopped crying suddenly he wouldn't have survived...
