  • The West has just 10 years to be saved from dark forces, wokery and authoritarian regimes like China and Russia, Liz Truss warned today.
On Never Mind the Ballots, the ex-PM argued Britain is being slowly taken over by left-wing un-elected bureaucrats pushing extreme environmentalism, political correctness and socialism.
And she even said she wants Nigel Farage to join the Tories.
The UK's shortest-serving leader of all time said: "I fear if we don't get our act together as the West, we will see the likes of China, Russia and Iran dominating the world.
"This is about Conservatives actually fighting back against left wing ideology, because we've allowed the left to win in many areas.
"One is gender ideology, but it's also true on things like the net zero agenda and human rights."

Never forget that Conservative Party members- not the electorate - made this clown the PM despite all the resounding voices right and left to recognise the basic leadership incompetence she has demonstrated throughout her political life. She was a political joke - Cheese and pork lady. As of 1 January 2021, the trade-trained strength of the army is 76,300. This is seven per cent below the target set in the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) of 82,000 personnel. The army has not met this target since the middle of the last decade.
The Royal Navy/Royal Marines and the RAF are also below their 2020 targets. It also shows that the armed forces as a whole is six per cent below the trained/trade-trained target of 144,000 by 2020.

And then out of nowhere she was not only a candidate but received a great deal of backing. Fast forward to her being PM and the first thing she does is reduce corporation tax at a time of extreme austerity! So she should be the absolute last person to prattle on about deep state when she was put there at the behest of large corporations to reduce their tax liabilities. Having said that, we do need to be very careful when it comes to certain foreign states that would love to do us harm. I can only think you are commenting ironically. This government is widely and correctly termed neo fascistic. Wealth to the wealthiest whilst both the poorest and the middle classes are being wrung out. Benefits reduced across the board while the rights to demonstrate against the perpetrators has been much reduced at the same time as penalties for those who do protest are increased.
Public services are starved with a 40% reduction in local government funding. Thus youth services, the arts, libraries and social care (to name just a few that came into my head) have been hugely underfunded.
If you weren’t being ironic, what kind of world do you want to live in?
Above all of that, isn’t Truss just a weird, awkward and utterly shameless individual who mustn’t be allowed to hold any position of power or even influence?

It utterly defeats me how anyone can take Truss seriously. You are a living example of why people do not trust politicians seriously. Look at your own record. Forty-nine days as PM. A budget that has crucified ordinary people; doubled their mortgages and set back the UK by years if not decades. What stunning hubris. The issue here is that where there are concerns about a left liberal agenda in UK politics, Truss has demonstrated she is utterly useless and completely incompetent to govern. We knew that back in her cheese and pork days she was a third tier vaudeville act. Truss isn't being trashed by the left wing media. She is being trashed by most of the population of the UK who suffer every day from her arrogant stupidity If the Conservative party want to have any semblance of credibility they will run a mile from this woman.
