    Goats will also strip the bark off of cedar trees. Goats are good at clearing brambles, brush and lower leaves off trees. They really are not grazers, so you still have to mow. Chew on almost anything like a teething puppy. Love Lily - hope she makes friends with all the household pets.

    Yes, I've owned goats...
    Both milking and Angora goats... you must protect your trees with a netting barrier... as the goats will eat anything...
    Its a shame no one told you before hand...
    I hope your trees survive... and yes, you need to preserve the main trunk of the tree, and take down the younger ones... they would eventually grow and fall over due to lack of stability....
    Love your videos...
    And when the foggies visit...
    I did wonder what happened to the rescued kitty... ha ha!
    Blessings to all ❤

    Hi there folks. Andrea the answer is: aerobic. Anaerobic bacteria are the bad ones. Same goes for your compost - encouraging aerobic bacteria improves soil health. If you replace some of the milk with cream, you'll get both a thicker kefir & a milder, smoother taste. Awesome stuff! So many ways you can serve it too. Our favourite is to mix it with some grenadilla pulp & serve it super chilled during the scorching heat of summer, as a drinking yoghurt. Best wishes from a chilly South Africa.😉

    • @kvdw5375
      @kvdw5375 Před 2 měsíci +1

      Ps: I forgot: you can also do a second straining through cheesecloth, & end with really thick, almost clotted kefir. I also made breakfast quiches with first strain kefir beaten with lots of eggs & whatever you can dream up as filling. Happy kefir-ing.😊

    I went through one of those storms with the Sarah Desert Sands and yes, everything was yellow, everything was covered in the dust, and cleanup was a stinker (not that I had to clean). Nice to have the rain though. I'm sorry, I don't care what good the kefir would do for me. I would only drink that if I'd lost every one of my taste buds and sense of smell and texture. Probably not then either!
