The problem with the 6 series is that there is no point to it other than the cache the owner thinks a larger badge number and $20K price premium gives him. The 3 series is just as roomy, just as fast, just as "luxurious" and arguable handles better. If bmw where smart they would create a 7 series coupe along the lines of a mercedes cl or bentley gt. A mammoth, roomy, bouldering, heavy tourer, more comfort and less sportiness.
@gracer99 yea ive been thinking about a 7 series coupw which the 6 basically is. The real BMW coupe is the 850i which they need to bring back. And possibly a 5 series coupe?? idk but i kno i would buy one in a heartbeat lol
to make the point clear even bmw shows on their website that the 6 series has 81 cubic feet of interior space and the 3 series coupe has 88! again the 6 series is 5.3 seconds 0-60 while the 335ci is 4.9! there is no poin to the 6 series!
I was a B.M.W. auto tech for 20 years. I would never, repeat, NEVER buy one. You will be married to your dealership as no one else has the diagnostic capabilities to even turn off simple warning lights. Mercedes floated on their laurels of their 'gull wing' for decades, now BMW is floating on the laurels of their 2002 for decades. The only people that like them are the ones that haven't owned one and the ones that own one and don't want to admit what a piece of crap it is.

Awesome GT car for cruising the highways. However I would take the M6 for some serious speed, driving and fun.
