Great video, this is now one of my fav rhythm games, I do wish there was a few more iconic tracks from each mainline title, but I understand there's a lot of titles that have to shine.
Totally there with you on getting emotional! I wasn’t expecting it at all but part way through the final song before the credits I was just starting to cry from all the callbacks they were doing. Would totally love more videos on this if you’re still playing!
I teared up when I saw The Sanctuary of Zi'tah from FFXI. I spent so many hours there doing homework and chatting the nights away because that song is just so damn good.
a little detail that I loved... the images representing each song... so cute on the art style of Theathrythm, and all the references, so well made
I just unlocked the opening from Dissidia (probably the FF title I'm more obsessed with), and it's a little image of WoL, Zidane and Tidus... and they even changed the color scheme, to be more dark and less colorfull to match the intro of the first game... and if u remember the intro, Zidane and Tidus are exactly the two at side of WoL when they show all the warriors of Cosmos in the beginning...
I mean, they could represent with WoL and any protagonists that would make sense for Dissidia, but had the extra trouble to make the image mirror the scene of the intro
I hope that square will listen and fix the BM since the songs seems to be delayed a fair bit which makes it hard to time with the songs/music. Want this game to be the best it can be ❤️

This is a great review, you shouldn’t be ashamed to call it that. You laid out exactly what you love about this game and why, as well as why someone with differing tastes may not vibe with it the same way. That’s a good review.
An “Objective review” is just a flat description of the contents of the game without any value judgments. Tbh, I think that striving for objectivity in a review is pretty pointless. Your subjectivity is the point of a review, and what separates a good from bad review is the ability to clearly articulate why you subjectively view the piece of media the way you do.
For a good example of what I mean by this, look up the Jimquisition’s objective review of Final Fantasy XIII to see what the platonic ideal of an objective review looks like.

Can we get content about optimal team setups for things like max damage and trying to win multiplayer battles? I have level 99 characters, but still get 4th place while getting perfect chains.
Final fantasy fanservice game its among the best yes to me tied with world of final fantasy
I love this game so much as well, they do so much good, the only little thing i wished they did was added the full songs from everything, yes i know some songs are 8min+ but i would've loved to play it. i still play guitar hero (clone hero) and i don't mind playing 12min songs at all :p
I know it’s probably a small chance, but I kinda hope they add more characters :P, both from final fantasy and possibly from the dlc songs
me too... I feel like, at least, FFX and FFIX deserved one more main party member...
and would loved if the "FF series" part had the main characters... Jack, Brandt and Lann & Reynn (could work as one unit, like on DFFOO)...
I wish I liked the coop more it's fun but some of the things just feel very cheap and like they're designed to make you loose instead of being a minor inconvenience

Bought this game with little to no hype and I'm thoughroughly addicted. Great game
I was enjoying even the unlocking stream.
All the nostalgia kept flowing with the graphics alongside of course the music.
It is really really fun to watch.
Definitely a really great pickup if you love FF.
On the flipside, and it is more of my own thing sadly, rhythm games are not my kind of game. I dont really enjoy that kind of gameplay.
Impossible to not well up they played mi girls songs wayward daughter and oblivion. Also blow you a kiss being included hit me harder then expected.
I still really really wish we got memory of light waves and the new besaid song
Memory of Lightwaves is included in the Digital Deluxe upgrade, although it goes by a slightly different name.
