Great Message for today! Stop Passing Judgment on people. God does that not human beings!

The issue is whether or not a person is condemning or not condemning and only God and that person knows. The bible tells us how to judge righteously and with discernment. Out of the mouth speaks what? The heart. You will know them by what? Their fruits.
I have learned to wait and to see so as not to "judge" by merely outward appearance. Why do you desire to know if a person is really saved or not? If it is because you care for their soul, then your intent is NOT to condemn, but rather to help them.
In a world where people are so thin-skinned; you will get called all kinds of things and have all kinds of false accusations thrown at you in this area. You will be called a pharisee, or you think you are holier than thou, or judge not least ye be judged or get the 2x4 out of your eye etc. My experience is when you call one to holiness or point out an obvious sin and call for recognition and repentance; they cast these "lines" at you. My observation is most of them are biblically ignorant because they almost always use it as a defense mechanism and cannot give an explanation in some detail as to what the offense was.
At the same time; you must always pause when these accusations are given to make sure your intentions were noble or not.

Voddie makes two points that kind of contradict. First, he states that all of us do it and he is right; the question is "is it a habit?". Second, he quotes the scripture from Jeremiah 17v9 that says: “The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand (or know it) it?" This tells us about the "average" heart; so who can know it - well He just said it is what? Deceitful or wicked.
Mark 7v21-22 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Jesus spoke of what comes out of a man defiles him and also James speaks along these lines.
I recognize the passage in Romans 14 speaks in the framework among brothers and sisters. How many of you ask yourself; "are they saved?" and you base it on how they behave and what they say or do not say. The question is "why are you asking these things?" Is it because you are concerned or condemning? Exalt the Lord always in your thinking and your speaking.
God bless all of you; it is a difficult world and we need to be saturated in the word of God and grow closer to Him in the process. Come Lord Jesus come!!!

John 6:Rejected by His Own 43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
1 Corinthians 2: Spiritual Wisdom 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?”But we have the mind of Christ.
Hebrews 5:Spiritual Immaturity 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 6:The Peril of Not Progressing
6 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits. 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
2 Timothy 2;Approved and Disapproved Workers 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Ephesians 5:Walk in Love 5 Thereforenbe imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For [a]this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.
1 Corinthians 5 Immorality Must Be Judged 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner-not even to eat with such a person. 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”
1 Corinthians 6:Do Not Sue the Brethren
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
1 John 3:Sin and the Child of God 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
2 Corinthians 6:Be Holy 14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
    “I will dwell in them
    And walk among them.
    I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.” 17 Therefore
    “Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” 18 “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters,
    Says the Lord Almighty.”

Malachi 3:A Book of Remembrance 16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name.
17 “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels.
      And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.” 18 Then you shall again discern
Between the righteous and the wicked,
      Between one who serves God
And one who does not serve Him.
Ezekiel 2:6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious. 8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
Ezekiel 3:3 Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.
      Psalm 34:The Happiness of Those Who Trust in God 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
      Jeremiah 15: Jeremiah’s Dejection
16 Your words were found, and I ate them,
      And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart;
For I am called by Your name,
      O Lord God of hosts
Matthew 4:Satan Tempts Jesus 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
Deuteronomy 8: Remember the Lord Your God 3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Ezekiel 3:10 Moreover He said to me: “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears. 11 And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ whether they hear, or whether they refuse.”
Isaiah 30:A Rebellious People 8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come,
      Forever and ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people,
      Lying children,
Children who will not hear the law of the Lord; 10 Who say to the seers, “Do not see,”
And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
11 Get out of the way,
Turn aside from the path, Cause the Holy One of Israel
      To cease from before us.”
Ezekiel 3:18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
20 “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”
Sinners Drawn to the second Death and the righteous
Proverbs 24:11 Deliver those who are drawn toward death,
And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.
12 If you say, “Surely we did not know this,”
Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
He who keeps your soul, does He not know it?
And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?
Jeremiah 23:22 But if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way And from the evil of their doings.
23 “Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord,
“And not a God afar off? 24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.

How can you not pass judgement??

    • @ignacioarellano2632
      @ignacioarellano2632 Před 7 měsíci

I think passing judgment can be
      further elaborated by 3 aspects:
1-Labeling people based on mistakes/sin, rather than the truth of the Word. I.E.- “This person is toxic, and they’ll always be that way.” This type of judgement can be shallow and lacking in information/understanding. It isn’t helpful, but destructive. God looks at sinful people as those who are hurting and lost, needing of His restoration.
2-Being critical of someone with the intent (conscious or subconscious) to destroy them. “Why do they even try? They’re a failure.”
3- Judging someone to be less valuable than yourself. Thinking you’re better because you’re in a better position in life or sin less.
Making judgements isn’t bad. Psychologists make informed judgements about their patients in order to help them.
Pastors make judgments when choosing leaders for ministries. It is condemning others that is wrong.
You must avoid these examples, but also learn to judge with kindness, Godly wisdom, for the purpose of understanding, loving, and knowing when to set boundaries.
Jesus said not to throw your pearls to the pigs. To not waste your time on people who don’t value what you have time say. But you need to learn who would waste your time. You need to be wise to assess and make judgements that are good intentioned under God’s guidance.
      Hope that helps.

It has to do with the type of judging you're doing. Is it righteous judgment or not. If it isn't than repent of a legalistic attitude and if it is righteous than praise God
