Wow , this video really explained to me exactly what toy rotation is what why itâs important, loved the video learned so much from itđâ€ïžâ€ïž
I'm a Kindergarten teacher (who runs a play-based program), and the assortment of toys you have out for Riley (and now Jackson) is excellent! You've got fine and gross motor stuff, letters/numbers/shapes, building, pretend play, problem solving and puzzles, books, art and sensory activities, outdoor learning stuff -- basically everything that I would have out and available in my classroom for my students to explore and use to learn! She'll be in a great position going into school in a few years, and it should help keep her entertained! And it's awesome that you're teaching her to clean up after herself.
I was just starting to feel overwhelmed with toys and this video was so helpful. I have a toy rotation going myself, but I never thought of rotating bath toys. Thatâs such a cool idea! I also made myself a wish list of gifts for my kids based on some of the cool toys you showed us. Thanks!
I love your videos! I have a 2 month old baby girl and have been following your journey and just love getting ideas and tips from you! She is also a horrible sleeper so itâs great to know Iâm not alone, although you make it look SO easy! Your babies are the cutest & your videos are seriously an escape for me through all the chaos of having a newborn. Keep it up mama, youâre doing amazing!! â€ïžâ€ïž
Kayla! I just wanted to thank you đ...
I started watching your videos last week and they have seriously help me out since I am a first time mama!! â€ïž
You're awesome! I've been following you since being pregnant with my boy (now 5 months). Also have a toddler girl. Thanks for being so real! I just recently reorganized my daughter's art supplies in one of those plastic organizers with drawers. Works great!
This is INCREDIBLE đđ Thank you for the inspo!!!!
This video is AMAZING! Iâm going to do this with my daughters toys. Sheâs 1 in two weeks and will have lots more toys so Iâm going to 100% follow your tips. You have fab advise, thank you x
Yay I love this collab! I love both your and Kallie's channels :)
I love the idea of rotating toys! I will definitely do that as my little guy gets older
Thanks Kayla for sharing! I love your organization system. Iâve been telling my husband for awhile that we need a system like this, so heâll have to watch this video to see the big picture!
Hey your back at your home, I think I missed that vlog.
Really like how you guys do this ! think ill do toy rotation too
You should look into the Montessori method âșïž itâs focused on following the child through play, so for toy rotations you switch out the toys your child is not interested in and switch in toys that will encourage their current interests :) it also encourages an open shelf like you are doing but with 1-2 toys per cube so as to not overwhelm the child
You've very quikcly become my favorite channel on youtube! I love seeing new uploads from you! â€â€â€â€â€â€
Loved this video! Definitely gave me some good ideas ! Thanks for sharing !
That's a ton load of toys đź
This was great. Love the tray across the bathtub.
Love love this video so much â€ïž thank you for tips for toy storage love your videos
Hello, Kallie from But First Coffee sent me! I don't have children, but I love Kallie's vids and she spoke very highly of you :)
I didnât realize you were back home. Love these ideas!
Emily Gaskins yes!! I was back home for 4 or so days and now Iâm currently in the car driving to NC for vacation for a week! After that Iâll be home for good! And btw, thereâs a vlog going live tomorrow that I filmed back at my momâs house a couple weeks ago, but it hadnât been approved by the brand. A little back and forth (sorry!), but soon things will be less chaotic lol
I am totally inspired, thank you for a fabbbbbb video. My house is over run with toys and lots dont get played with so Im going out tomorrow to buy a load of toy bins and start planning a rotation, I'm very excited.
Kallie brought me here!! Great video!!
These are some great ideas. Personally, I think that is too many toys for my home, but I work full-time and my kids are only home with me on nights and weekends. If I was a SAHM I would definitely have more toys for them and I like the system you have set up so all the toys get played with. Great video
LOVE your videos
Thank you so much for all the support lady! đ
Glad you all made it home safely. Toy rotation is crucial for children to continue playing with everything and being challenged by what they have. Toy hiding is also good when they get too much for the holidays or their birthdays and it is overwhelming. Then they simply throw everything everywhere and focus on nothing at all. It is too much for their brains to handle in their tender years while there is still such prodigious learning and development going on. Best to put a portion of the things aside to be brought out later. It does mean one has to triage the toys to be sure the ones that are not challenging and they will outgrow almost immediately get put out first, so they can be given away as soon as the child loses all interest. However, the Montessori-type longer learning toys that challenge them for a longer period of time and allow them use of their imaginations must be kept and rotated to allow their learning to flourish in the use of them. You are wise to do this and not to hoard because there are so many in need that it is wise to get rid of things as soon as they are no longer of use to your children. Thanks.
I need to do this! Such an awesome idea!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Yayy!! Thanks for watching! đ
@@KaylaBuell I watch EVERY video u postđ
I came from butfirstcoffee. Thanks for the ideas
If you're looking for good organized items/gifts that can be great to kids while young and contribute to organization, you should definitely try educational books or custom versions of it such as *personalised childrens books* - you'll have an easier time should they become book lovers while young
Love you kayla

Do you have an Amazon wishlist or something?
She has an Amazon store where she lists things that are her "favorites".
@@kaylynbroussard4122 I meant like something I could buy stuff for her
@@averagebloke4474 ohhh. I mean, not that I have ever seen or heard her mention, but I am not sure!
Dear parents!
When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they wonât see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!!
Respectfully,
Astra Viil
Oh srry plus got little girls
Good idea, but way too many toys
Iâm only 4 minutes in, but how do you make sure she doesnât lose all the pieces to everything? My 2 1/2 year old cant be trusted with puzzles đ§©
