I was using a modded Super light pro with TTC Gold and it was a lighter switch and feel for me, can I just swap any switch in this mouse or it has to be an optical switch? The side button PCB sitting on the top is quite prone to bending even from daily use. Once that happens, the structural integrity would be harmed and the mouse could start creaking due to top shell flex. Surely one can open up the mouse and correct the PCB back straight though.

    • @Beardedbob

@@Beardedbob I swear that I only grabbed it with the strength of a normal human being lol! Whether it was due to the screws being tightened unevenly or other reasons. IDK. Still, I would suggest those being troubled by any creaking issue to check the PCB straightness.

So, a Korean guy passing by. Since Pulsar is in Korea, we've got a lot of hate/love going on in the mice community here.
And I say this cuz we stripped down a lot of batches. We've come to find that in the top most plunger protruding from the click buttons, you can find a set of supergrips. They act as dampers that make contact with the bottom part of the mouse. But since supergrips are initially really sticky, it makes this 'two-step-sticky-click' feel. Just like Bob suspected. Removing them solves the problem, and you may apply teflon tape or something instead, but it is not necessary. It solves all click problems reported in reeddit, both the x2v2s and x2hs. Hope it helps
