Hello. My family's ancestral village is very near to Chong Lou - in fact, it was the closest town. The name of the villge is Cheong Ping (昌平村). Do you know it? If so, I would love to chat!
How about Chonglou 亙窑岡東橋里? My Grandfather’s name was 倪奕英. My father was倪錦榮 ( 字世銘). They built a new home there around 1937. My mother visited in the 1990’s. I understand there were three 倪 villages. 東橋里was the newest.
@@TaishanBaiXiao My mistake. 陳國宜is great great grandfather. He had four sons. My great grandfather was the eldest son, 陳瓊宗. My maternal grandfather was 陳孔佐(錦富). This family had a diao lou built by a forefather, 陳良玩. My mother told of stories of sleeping in the family tower during the war. I calculate this family sent sons overseas since the 1850’s…. I have not been to 台山, would like to visit one day.
