Found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching since. This is my 1st year. I am a complete rookie but the info on youtube is insane. the past couple months i might as well of been at a 2 month school program of panning detecting and minerals. Also started stacking silver. This is one of the first bags i bought when i started back yard panning. very fine stuff, flour gold all day long, so far i have gone through 3 lbs of dirt and recovered so much flour, but it is mixed in with a lot of blonds....i am waiting to finish the rest of it with a blue bowl or recirc sluice.
As a Montanan, I'd say the same guy tryin to sell bridges is branchin out.

I've been watching your reviews for a few months. I'm dying to go prosecuting for gold. However, I have colon cancer and at the moment I'm dealing with a tumor that keeps me in pain. Hopefully I will be heading to surgery to remove it soon. So going prosecuting is not going to happen for a few months. I've also been looking to purchase paydirt. I decided to make my first purchase if paydirt with you. So next week I can pan for gold at home and get some practice for after I recover from surgery. Small upgrade you can do for that sluice box. Get a quick disconnect for it. Itll protect the threads and make it faster to connect/disconnect. Not really necessary but they’re definitely nice
Oh yeah sounds great! I have 3 sluices too, would save time for sure. I plan on upgrading the entire system once I move though. Right now it's more about fighting the ice - everything's outside on my balcony. New place = GPAH shed!

Montana is close to Wyoming and I mine from a gold rich river but I’ve never found any nuggets but I have found pickers not huge ones but what I’m saying is that in those states u will mostly find flower gold

My all time fav youtuber ! Im waiting for colorado unemployment to start sending e my checks again. Im sure I'm not the only one but as soon as I get that check! I plan on purchasing a few bags of the lucky gold strike and the begginer bags , only because I want the cool goodies inside! Once the phrase left your mouth " I will be moving soon" my heart sunk and I was like noooo another colorado native leaving the state, soon colorado won't have anymore native Denverites and colorado will be populated by our of towner's who will then becomes the natives and totally change our denver culture lol I'm totally over thinking things. So, I live about 45 minutes from where this dirt comes from. It was a huge gold producing area back in the gold rush days. It has been mined hard for decades though, and I suspect a lot of the good gold has been removed. Of course, if it is unsearched, there will be an occasional very good bag, but most are likely to be duds. There have been a few people to find an occasional picker in this guys bags, but not many.

It's sad that people say that "this is the best paydirt ever" with such little gold in it. I feel like if my back was up to it I could go down to the Bear RIver south of town here and just dig up and box a bunch of dirt and claim "this paydirt is from the richest river in California Gold Rush history!" and sell it like hot cakes despite the fact that being below the dam, there's very little gold in it. Good thing I'm not that kind of person though. (plus I don't have money to bag the stuff and ship it out) I will say that our dirt down here definitely is tricky to pan with not only black sands but grey/white heavy sands too (zircon powder.)

Bought the 20-25lb when it was on sale, still like $80 and got like .315g I've tried a few other smaller bags from MP too and I will no longer buy that paydirt. Goldbay is my go to for sure
What do you do with all the old dirt and gravel and chunky rocks? Reuse them for your pay dirts or do you have a dump pit or something?

I didn't know Dream Mats got that large of a size pattern...have only seen smaller patterns.
Yeah the large dream mat is good for running lots of material (like in this video), the smaller pattern (I also have this) is great for running concentrates.
