She was my 1st grade music teacher. I remember crying when she told us she was leaving. Have been a huge fan of everything she's done. Great choice of guest Kevin!
Fenton kid? My sister went to Kellison at that time, and my mom was the secretary.
She had to be the hottest teacher ever?????
@@scottthompson4193 She was, and my first crush.
@@tmcd9262 I'm sure your mom seen me in the principles office many times 😒
@@shaunhirtz3911 That had to be pretty amazing Shaun, watching one of your teachers become famous...
Holy crap she's 60 years old. Looks amazing and still sounds great btw
60 years Young
My favorite radio station went off the air, and I was bummed, but a minute later it's replacement came on the air with zero fanfare. "All I Wanna Do" began playing, and it was the first time most folks in Los Angeles ever got to hear Sheryl Crow. I thought, "Well, maybe I have a new favorite radio station." If I'd of known that Sheryl was my age, I would of realized that my generation had just taken the reins.
@@lespritdelescalier4858 we'll see how you do after partying with the Rolling Stones for 40 years. Lol.
I agree. She looks no more than 47 or 50. She is Great! Always smiling, generous, and has a Super super voice!
I'm 36 and she looks better than 80% of the people I graduated HS with. lol.
she is the best. when I was in the army she came to Bosnia to see us. she was at the peak of her career and didn't need to take an out-of-the-way USO tour. thank you it meant a lot to us.
Kevin you lucky bastard.
jeepers, 60 is the new 32. Sheryl Crow looks amazing
Her voice is part of the 1990’s and those were some of the best years of my life. So glad Sheryl is happy and still writing great music.
it is amazing that both Kevin and Sheryl
prove everyone has the same life when you get to your 60's
It's "wooo, what a hike" because of Sheryl 😂😍
Sheryl is simply awesome. Have loved her and her music since she went solo after being Michael Jackson's back-up singer on his tour, and I had no idea she was a teacher before hitting the road as a singer - so cool! Great interview, Kevin, thank you!
I heard it was the other way around i.e. Michael being
Sheryl's backup. Michael's big break!
Sheryl, 60 is your prime. Joni. Bob. Keith & Mick. Keep writing. Kevin, thank you.
Agreed, Tony!!!
Sheryl is not only extremally talented, and beautiful, but also one of the classiest people in the industry. We need more people like her.
Kevin, these hiking interviews are just solid infotainment. You do such a great job asking questions, listening and following up. Thank you so much for getting back out on the trails.
PBD is going to call you to talk about copyright infringement. (Infotainment) 😉
Two of the most humble people who are celebrated publicly ❤️ this is wonderful.
Nice hike, loved the colourful trees this time of the year! Sheryl Crow is such a awesome person!
I'm so happy you brought Hiking with Kevin back!!!! Great show. Feels like I was just on a hike with you but minus the exercise.
That looks like the best day ever for a hike with the leaves and overcast cloudy skies
She didn't really play the kind of music I listen to, but even I could appreciate her talent, and I do think she has a beautiful voice.
Check out the video of her and her band with Prince sitting in on guitar in the 90s.. might change your mind about her music.
But all in all.. cheers mate
@@GilbertsGrapes what's the video called?

I loved the part of the discussion about pill boxes and forgetfulness.
♥️ this what a hike this must of been. ☺️
An absolutely wonderful hike with Sir Nealon and the fantastic Sheryl Crow, who happens to be a favorite of mine! Thank you both for all the joy and inspiration you have given to us all! ❤️
Great hike with Sheryl crow.
Would have been great to have heard more about what she thought was great and also what she thought was terrifying about being her age right now.
Heavy on the Sir
I’m jealous! I’d love to hike with either or both of you!
Sheryl is still a rock star. Her songs will live on forever. Look at Joni Mitchell coming out at Newport Music Festival and woke everyone in person, On You tube, Twitter. Facebook. You are the same no matter what age. Your fabulous and loved.
I think Joni is from Canada, not Connecticut though
@@shoominati23 I refer to a music concert she just appeared at in Newport. It was amazing to she her on stage and singing the best she could . The fans fell out of their seat and gave Joni a huge standing ovation.
@@shoominati23 She was at Newport Music Festival. Not Hartford. Sorry
Man, love the Fall background. Gorgeous.
I've had a crush on this woman for over 20 years. First video I saw I realized she was perfect. 😍
Today is my birthday....... this video was a nice gift, truly enjoyed it!
Radnor Lake!!! A Nashville icon!!! I used to walk the trails 4 times a week when I lived there💖💖💖💖
Awesome hike with two great, great people.
I've seen Sheryl Crow a few times over the years...she's FANtastic professionally and personally! Thanks Sheryl..this Canadian loves ya! Cheers, Kevin!
The trail, Sheryl, Kevin, and the birds chirping in the background, combined with a shot of this gorgeous path illuminated by the sun, and a peripheral view of the beautiful river - what more could one ask for?
I'm a 68 year old American man living in Des Moines, Iowa. Singer/Songwriter is one of the things I've done. In the early 1990s I was the 'House Band' at a downtown bistro called JAVA JOES. I played a two hour lunch shift, then came back for a two hour Happy Hour. Cheryl Crow had played there! Obviously, before she got famous.
It made me happy to play on the same stage that she had.
'' _Sheryl_ ''
I met Sheryl Crow when she played at the Louisville Palace in the 90s, the Wallflowers opened the show, I have great story to tell about how I washout invited to the green room but it would take too long, she's an incredible artist and I hope she released some new music. She's a great songwriter!
All I wanna do…. is go Hiking with Kevin
A real rock star. Don't care who she dated 20 or 30 years ago. Always feeling respect and appreciation for Sheryl Crow.
Sheryl is a beautiful person.
That was a lot of fun. Glad I joined the 2 of you. Beautiful scenery. Happy Thanksgiving. 💕
I feel like many would love it if she released a new album 👍✌️✌️
Easily my favorite episode of Hiking with Kevin. It's the first episode where I felt like "this a person I want to go on a hike with". I'm glad Sheryl was able to find peace after a hugely successful career before getting chewed up and spat out by the entertainment industry.
She looks great
Sheryl... you look amazing. Love so many of your songs.
So glad your hikes are back, Kevin.
I worked in rock & metal for many years & have a copy of Sheryl’s self-titled album that she very kindly signed for me. She’s super cool & it’s nice to see that she’s so likeable.
Old School SNL & and always lovely Ms Crow , one of my favorite clients, so easy to talk to… yes we are all over 60 now… keep up the great hikes 👍💪🙏🥂
I love her laugh. Genuine.
She sure picked a beautiful place to live.another great show Kevin
Great interview...really enjoyed it...
So glad you were at Lake Radnor. Also thrilled you were here with Sheryl Crow! I know you must have froze, though!
She wishes she dated Hank Azaria!
Another great interview. Sheryl is a lovely person.
Both of you so adorable!
Thanks! 🥰
So awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Sheryl, your experience of accidentally leaving your car running speaks volumes about the adaptability of our brains, especially as we transition to new technologies like electric cars. Our minds are incredibly skilled at filtering out 'background noise,' allowing us to overlook things like the absence of a traditional engine sound. This incident highlights the remarkable ability of the human brain to adjust to new norms. It's a reminder of how specific cues become ingrained in us over time, and how changing those cues requires our brains to adapt once again. I'd venture to say that someone who has driven gas vehicles their whole life might be less likely to make this oversight simply because they're attuned to the cues associated with starting and stopping an engine. It's a fascinating glimpse into the elasticity and adaptability of our cognitive processes.

Who doesn't Love Cheryl Crow!
I loved this! Thanks you two! TN raised, CA living now. This was fun.
Put Fluorescent dots on your items I use pink So since I did it I never leave stuff in hotels or Vaca. I also call SWEEP before we leave a spot.

I love the whole idea of this show to talk and hike - so good thank you
Great interview ! :)
This was really fun. Thanks.
Excellent! You've inspired me to go hiking! Thank you for the smiles.
I remember listening to “Maybe Angels” in my truck with my dad in like 1997 (I was 19) and when Cheryl sang “they don’t know nothin’ ‘bout saving me”, my dad lost his religious shit and freaked out. 😂🤣 I became agnostic about 15 years later, so… thanks, Cheryl! 🤠
And Kevin, I think I was in junior high school when you were making me laugh on SNL, so thanks for all the weekend updates. I like the new channel.
Interesting that's a proud moment for you.
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power that absolutely should be a proud pivotal moment for her! Letting go of lies and mythology
@@hashberry111 "lies and mythology" as if you have all the answers. And I don't think Caleb is a "her."
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power I’m proud of the day I stopped believing the lies too. Religion is the dumbest thing humans ever invented. And we made bombs

I've always loved her music. She's the best. Still looks amazing😍
Absolutely charming. We are tickled to see you back.
I stumbled across this and I adore Sheryl Crow, but I was not initially about sitting down for a 17-minute video. So I bookmarked it. Then it was like a good book that couldn't be put down. So here I am halfway in and happily destined to watch it all.
Thatwas wonderful …1st time watching and Sheryl you are so genuine loved it &sharing glad i came across it!!
Great content, awesome hike, awesome guest. get after it.
Nice to see this series revived. Thanks 👍
Glad you are back to hiking, Kevin! thanks to you and your original "hiking with Kevin" series it helped me survive the Covid shut down year(s). Almost two years of closed businesses and shortened business hours,....I thought I would lose my mind. Not seeing people on the streets, unable to communicate with people as we all hid under our masks. As a retired person, I loved going to coffee houses and hanging out, striking up conversations with friendly strangers, is what kept me sane. Then Covid disrupted everything.
And it was All a Lie.

Great episode! Love Sheryl...and always love Nealon walking and talking in circles:)
Love this....(now I get to go back and watch from the beginnings ( perks of coming across this episode) ....As for Sheryl favourite Mistake ....My guess is John McEnroe....lol ( AS for SNL....you always kept me in stitches and this series is no different....Thank you sooooo much, 1000 islands Canada!!! ps Keep on hiking (and interviewing)
Good hike Kevin!
Kevin, This thanksgiving I'm very grateful for all of your wonderful content through the years. Your lines from Happy Gilmore still I feel are some of the greatest of all time! I saw you in Cleveland recently and when you asked for suggestions from the audience, I asked to hear about Norm as he had just passed and you delivered. You're a legend and I look forward to seeing as much as you can give us in the future👍
I was just listening to "If it Makes You Happy" last week and here she is in person, thanks Kevin!
Good interview!!! Great view and a great hike
I can promise there's plenty of us who grew up listening to great rock who would definitely listen to your new stuff.
Great hike, good chat, glad you are back.
