Thanks for sharing. I am on the "opposite" side of the spectrum. I got baptized as a kid and always struggled with my Christianity growing up. I tried to "make it work" reading the Bible daily and such hoping something would click in my early adulthood to no avail. Eventually I had to leave it because I had a toxic view of god, and have felt more close to god and more peaceful sense then.

I totally understand. Thanks for checking out my story that means so much to me! Yeah Jesus is love and love is deeply personal, Having a personal encounter with the man Jesus has marked me. There is nothing greater than knowing God, Jesus puts it this way "Eternal life is knowing God." there is a form of Christianity that lacks power and lacks intimacy with there Creator and that are flat out religious and Jesus warns about the religious Spirit, the ones who Loves knows God. but I Love Jesus because he Loved me first!
You can become perfectly one with God, God is Light and there is no darkness in him, we were created in the image of God and have been gifted with free will. we were created to be one with Yahweh but chose to worship creation and ourselves and were severed from God and became broken and twisted from our created design which is love. But thankfully God came as a man... and lived a perfect life with out sin and overcame every temptation and Jesus didnt worship the fallen angels but worshiped God alone. Jesus then died on the cross for the sins of the world and then God resurrected him 3rd day. and made it possible for us to become one with our heavenly Father!
God is spirit, the same Holy Spirit that rose Jesus from the grave now lives in me. And I have a personal relationship with him, hes so amazing he is my life and my source and my strength apart from him I can do nothing. he is the source of all life! open up your heart to the Holy Spirit he loves you so much and has known you before the foundation of the earth

Yes for sure in the future! God has been doing alot of inner healing on me this past year. so ill be posting an update and stuff and testify of what hes been doing in my life!

Hey Praise God! Yeah if you believe in Jesus and asked him to forgive your sins and make his home inside your heart you are born again. Jesus who knew no sin became sin so that we could be righteous and one with him again. Invite the Holy Spirit into your life and give him everything. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Truth and he will teach you all things and give you the ability to understand the Gospel and understand Jesus's death burial and resurrection. Asking for him to heal my heart
My ex fiance dad beat me up on our wedding day, her birthday
And she abandoned me, rejected, ghosted, then cheated
I forgive her and her family
But my heart has been traumatized
I poured just genuine love to them
And I feel abused
While she moved on, is happy and is now pregnant
I've been so depressed and sadly still love her and think about her
I want to let go and change and be joyful again
Its been eating me away and the potential life and experiences I can live because I'm hurt and depressed
I keep praying to God
I like listening to worship music
And watching videos that talk about God
If you can
Please pray for me
That I'm like Christ, find the right Christ like spouse, children, friends, work
I know God isn't a genie that I come to for wishes
But I want honest change
I want to follow Christ
And feel Gods love
Have a relationship
And be strong and faithful enough to endure this life and trials like Christ through him
