    Picked up the 2022 SFV4S 2 months ago, I've put about 1350 miles on it already. That's how easy it is to ride this bike, no drag, no trouble, very easy to have a good time on it.. city riding or twisties. Also the the best looking hyper naked on the market next to the Super Duke R which I traded it in for.

      Do you like it better than the SDR?

      @@CycleCruza I just sold it about 2 weeks ago, and grabbed a 2022 BMW S1000RR. Honestly, between the SDR and Ducati.... if I were to pick again I would take the SDR over the Ducati. 1800 miles in I haven't had any major issues but some annoying issues. Since the beginning I've had cold start issues, every day I start up the bike it would take 2 to 3 cranks and the 4th one would start the bike up, after it starts up it runs fine but then you get chain slaps. Every time I would close the throttle, open throttle, shift... any sudden movements to the gear box it would slap, and its a known issue with the SFV4/S. They say to tighten it to spec.. it helps but I still hear it even if its only slightly. I pay attention to little details like that and that just annoys me. Another issue is the auto up and down shifter, from 1st to 2nd gear it feels very hesitant and jerky no matter the RPM from 2nd to 6th its very nice and extremely smooth, occasionally I get false neutrals. Actually I get it quite often when I'm giving it the beans. If you shift normally from 1st to 2nd it's butter smooth, but then you hear that chain slap and its just annoying. The auto down blip is good, but only at certain rpms other wise it will feel jerky and hesitant. Another annoyance for me is decelerating, when you're climbing to higher rpms and you want to slow down so you let go of the throttle slowly, its not smooth at all. I feel the engine trying to adjust it self with the throttle which makes it hesitant and jerky, its not bad but you can feel it. Another problem it has is heat, it's quite hot but not unbearable especially to your left inner let behind your knee cap. When I ride I wear really thin pants so maybe I feel it more than others, you might not have that issue. Put aside all the issues, when the bike runs perfect with no annoyance or hesitant, it rides really good with the electronic ohlins that I had, definitely smoother and more comfortable than the SDR. Somehow the electronic steering on my S1000RR feels better than the SFV4S, I took the same road to work every day and the S1000RR does better on the rough roads.. for some reason. Last thing about the SFV4S, even though it has crazy power, and the ability to go over 140+ mph with ease, it is not fun... at all. The wind is insane and you will struggle holding on. Depending on the rider you are, having that much power with no wind protection may be a deal breaker, it was for me. Also the engine is vibrates a bit, I'd say 5/10 when it comes to vibration compare to the SDR, the Duke vibrates like crazy I'd give that a 8/10. So comparing the two I would take the Duke if you're city riding and messing around, the torque is insane and instant, you can feel a big difference in torque between the SDR and SFV4S. This is my conclusion after owning it for 5 months, the longer I had the bike the more minor issues I've found with it, but whatever I said about riding the SFV4 still stays, it is easy to ride, no trouble when riding, if you can get past the annoying little things that I coudn't.

    Owned, I’m biased but this bike is 100% in my opinion the best on the market. An unreal machine that could very well be perfect.

    ALways love your bike reviews. For some reason the alorigthm doesn't push these to the search as much as like MCN and the like yet.

      @ridexdrive  Před 2 lety

      Thanks!!!!! Yeah some videos perform better than others with the algo. MCN and the like have a team, access, and a budget to put out nearly daily content, which the algorithm loves. I’m just a guy that likes nerding out on cars and motorcycles in my free time. The rest, including connecting with supportive people like you, is a much welcomed bonus!

    Not one comment on the first hyper naked and still probably the best the TUONO kind of cast a shadow on the video

    Interested in both if the bikes shown in this vid. The SFV4S gas milage is a little off putting tho. I gotta check out this dealership since I know where it is, but never been.

      You think thats bad, imagine not knowing how much fuel is available. Because it doesn’t come with a gas gauge, only a red light warning you’re on your last gallon.

    Hi, how tall are you? You seem to almost flat foot this bike.
