Seems like this is the end of the road.. or should I say.. alley, for Pico.
His efforts and persistence could only get him so far, and we've clearly been shown that in this episode. Anyways, this episode is SO cool in so many ways, I'll give my honest criticism about this later.
Would I say that it was a smart decision for Pico to go solo and tell Darnell + Nene to run? Maybe. Although the three _perhaps_ could've done more damage to CBF, or even uncorrupt him, it would've still been too risky. CBF being on the limo is actually sick though, lmao. I wonder where he got it from, it doesn't have the Dearest emblem on the hood.
Something I've noticed being a common feature throughout the episode is actually how the health bar works. If you take a look at 1:46, where CBF begins pushing back the health bar, you can see the limo move closer to Pico. When Pico pushes back the bar, he gains distance. This is also prominent in the next chase sequence (2:37).
You might think that this is simply a small detail, but it also ties in with how the corruption itself works in Oblivion. As stated by DuoDoes, the corruption in Oblivion (at this stage) is range-based, meaning the closer you are to a corrupted individual, the faster, and easier you get corrupted. Which is why in the train section, Pico corrupts faster due to exhaustion _and_ not being able to run away from CBF, while CBF pushes back the health bar entirely in just a few notes. Pretty genius detail there, intentional or not.
Another thing that's also worth noting, is CBF's resistance to bullets here. He blocks them with complete ease (although, he still takes a bit of damage from them, as seen in the health bar) and basically just brushes them aside. This makes him quite dangerous as a corrupted, and goes to show just how powerful the corruption is in this take.
Now, that aside, I'll talk about the episode itself.
Honestly, everything here genuinely looks incredible. The change of scenery throughout the episode is so awesome, it feels really intense and keeps that feel until the end, super fitting for the song, as well. I will say though, the pacing, and plot of this overall, while it may not be perfect in my opinion, it's still outstanding, don't get me wrong. I can understand it though, it seems difficult to condense the events of this whole episode in just a short cutscene + a song. Apparently the starting cutscene is getting expanded for the demo to explain things better, so that's pretty nice.
The spritework and art for this episode is also peak, I absolutely love the lighting and just how they look in general. I've seen people mention that there was a bit of art clash compared to the last episode, but you have to understand that, one, you can't really have a single artist doing all the work every time, and two, it's really hard to maintain a completely consistent, set artstyle throughout the entire mod.
DISSOLUTION is a complete banger too, literally every Oblivion song has not missed a singular time so far, and they just keep getting better. The little sections of voice acting, like CBF's "Boo fucking hoo, are you done bro?" are so neat, I love them LMAO. 2:25 has to be my favorite little bit of the song, it's just SO COOL! "KICK OUT THE EPIC, MOTHAFUCKA!"
Oh ho, don't think I forgot about you, credits section. This opens up some theories. I'm CERTAIN that the white text was Soul BF, as we can see BF standing in his mind at that part. Also, can I just say how unique the credits section is? Not only does it have a fan-art section, but has a FAN-SONG section too?? I adore how the credits end and BF looks up at the sky at "GF", it's so heartwarming in a way.

Assuming MM's week is next, I have a theory for it. Seeing as Soul BF is making his appearance soon, although unknown when, and CBF could face MM, I think the win would be in MM's favor. Oblivion's corruption can't adapt, or really gain resistance against singing. This, paired with the possible disturbance within BF's mind in that week, _could_ result in CBF's loss.
Anyways, to sum it all up, absolutely PEAK episode. I think Oblivion is seriously one of the best Corruption mods now, and it's only had a few episodes.

This chapter was crazy even though I expected Pico to win.
It was obvious that Pico would push his friends away, he knew how powerful Evil BF was... that corruption in his body left him marked, and even though he quickly removed it he knew that another attack like that and he would be doomed so he let go of his friends so that they at least have a chance. The scene where he runs, shoots and on the train in addition to the cinematic shows the great effort they put into it, and I'm anxious for the next chapter.

Love how Pico was able to stand his ground against CBF and then got demolished on the train scene. Makes sense on how much stamina u need to do 2 rap battles then run for id say 5-6 minutes while rap battling and still rap battled on the train. Pico might have gotten corrupted but maybe hope isn’t lost just yet. Pico uncorroupted cbf physically but now it’s time for our blue man to wake the hell up. But I cannot mention the scene in the alley way. Picos corruption is getting so much more that the only thing uncorrupted is his eyes. But hey “boo fucking hoo are you done now” was probably the funniest shit ever I’ve seen in a corrupted video ever. Also note I’m wondering who was driving the car? Could it be one of the back dancers corrupted? We will probably never know will we find out about this situation in the alley way.yes indeed. Will I be in the premiere next time?

This episode was truly a masterpiece, the art clash was very charming and very nice done, the song could've used some work but i loved it, as for the cutscenes i loved them including the 2 second cutscenes, the icons are very well done and i loved them, this episode made me love oblivion even more, and for that i will continue working on oblivion otherside mix, well done duo and gang, you earned my full respect.

I really expected Darnell and nene to go kaisen jumping mode on bf but pico nah I’d win and it cost him but I def loved the moments where bf was taunting pico
I love this! This feels like one the few corruption mods that do something different with the usual formula! CBF feels like an actual threat.
Even though it doesn't end up really mattering, the fact that Bf falls further behind during the running part of the chase as his Hp goes down is still such a cool detail.
Even after just a few episodes this mod is shaping up to be like, the Mario's Madness of corruption mods.

Pico is the GOAT, he made sure that nene and Darnell had plenty of time to get away. And i feel that pico and bf would be the only ones to be able to corrupt nene and Darnell due to having more combat skill compared to bf, tbh i feel as if ne & dar would put up a fight against bf, unless he "plays dirty" and summons pico.
This is just one of the if not the best corruption mod i ever seen i love the artstyle of the sprite and even the credit animation you and your team did a amazing job on it i can't wait to see more of this

Pico didn't want to fight with BF, his plan was to distract BF so that Nene and Darnell could escape and then he would jump on the train to also escape.

Damn, i recently looked at this channel, and its just incredible the work the team its doing with this new Corruption mod, this is what i call a true good mod, even if its inspired by the original, everything its incredible, all the songs are really good for being the beggining, the cutscenes and art style its sick, the events between the song are cool, and the possibly story that could be told and reimagined its just exciting, and about some extra stuff i love the fact evil bf doesnt just sing, it shows a incredible resistance of Pico shots, it is scarier and cooler than original, and the best of all, he talks (yes i know every single bf can talk but this guy implemented the concept very good)

In my opinion, I really liked the video, but actually I did like the poses of Pico and BF in part 1, but whoever said that it will only be there, maybe the director and the developers can improve in each video, it is an advance of your work and effort, in fact, if or if you are going to achieve much more than your expectations, I congratulate you for the great work you do.

The episode was great in everything, but I don`t know about the story. It was kinda weird. Pico just died in 1 song and why did Darnell and Nene left him like that? Still the quality is amazing and I want to see what happens next. Will we see what happens to Daenell and Nene. It would be cool if Pico came after them lmao

Well, aparently this corruption works pretty differently from the others, being mostly possible to stay unnaffected for the most part, BUT, when you start actually getting infected, its basically over, being almost impossible to stop it, since pico's been fine for most of the first and second song, but as soon as he starts getting corrupted, its DONE, kind of like GF too
Aperrently BF is already gonna try to get out? dont remember any take doing something like this, but honestsly i bet it'll be something simillar to insanity, he'll try, but fail.
i'm betting the next episode is the kids, like usual, but since bf's fighting back, pico's probably gonna be the one to go after them (or maybe GF?)
tho it was weirdly dumb for pico just say "i got this lmao" and make nene and darnell run away, kind of a bummer since they didnt even do anything on day 1, unless he already knew it would be impossible to survive, so he tried to make himself and BF run away from anyone else, so it'd be harder for them to actually infect anyone in the short term, in that case maybe it was kind of a smart move
