Youve raised a very interesting topic. I keep saying that until we all have a change of heart and mind, Ghana will remain desperately poor, despite our huge potential. We have to have a brain reset. Nigerians come here and make the most of whatever opportunities exist here. Our young men and women repeating the refrain 'there are no jobs', as they continue to wait for the government to provide them with jobs.

Foreigners are allowed to appreciate the country they visit or travel to. But the citizens can criticize our government because we know what’s going on here. The foreigners will eventually live but we are here to stay.

This guy obviously is not exposed and has not travelled beyond west africa , if he goes to rwanda , kenya or even south africa what will he now say . These countries have constant power suppy and very efficient metro system , but ghana does not have an existing mestro system . The sewage system in ghana is so poor thats y they experience flooding during raining season as all drainages get blocked . Besides accra center the other parts of ghana have very terrible roads . The Internet system is very expensive making ghana a country with the least internet users . The only reason few rich nigerians go to ghana its not cos they have basic infrastructure, reason they go to ghana is because of the challenges of insecurities in some parts of Nigeria making an alternative , also ghana relatively peaceful. Peace is only wat ghana can offer nothing else as ghana still lackes behind in a lot of things when compared to other african contries . If Nigeria where to be close to Eastern or southern africa nobody will go to ghana .
Ur comment makes no sense. Kenya nor rwanda doesn't have metro station . Bad roads are across afrika . Both kenya and Rwanda are far more underdeveloped than ghana. Only southafrika is more developed than ghana even then ghana is catching up big time.

If Americans can criticise government for foreigners to appreciate? Why shouldn’t Ghana do same if it’s required? The government’s policy helps a lot, and rule of law should work; if people cannot be prosecuted because of clumsy legal proceedings, misbehaving people wouldn’t stop. If people say they are appreciating, the politicians will waste everything. The only appreciation is to retain them in power, and not to overlook what they do wrong.
