Hey coach can a 4-1 offense be effective against the 2-3 zone
Yes, it can but it wouldn't be my choice because in a 4 Out you will typically be lined up with the defenders making it easier for them to guard. It's better to play in the gaps which will make the defense have to communicate who is going to take the player. Most 2-3 zones are attacked with 2 players in so that you are exposing the weak spots of the zone. The High post and short corner.

I think it's perfect for high school. I'd bet most coaches wouldn't now how to adjust to this and you can really expose them.
No, players just have to be good at reading the court make good decisions. Draw the help and kick to the open man. My hs team used high ball screens to set up open corner 3's. It all depends on the personnel and what players strengths are.
