How much taxi driver earn?, Everybody before start preparing for test think about this. Today we are going to talk about Taxi driver income. Their are two ways first if you are self employed, second if you work for a taxi base.
We will talk about self employed taxi drivers first.
Driver’s income depends on many factors like the county they operate, time of the day or night , how many hours they work in a week. I am taxi driver in Ireland myself. I work just part time and earn handsome amount of income. Typically in the industry they say, we earn 20 to 50 euro per hour after all expenses. I have few friends who do taxi in Dublin City and Cork City. Dublin friend earn around 2000 to 2500 per week if he work around 50 hours a week, and cork friend earns around 1500-2000 for similar hours. Other counties are not as busy as Dublin and Cork cities but taxi drivers still earns handsome income like in Waterford city around 1000 euro for 40 hours and in Port Laois around 800 for same hours.
If you work for a taxi base, they give you the Car and insurance to do jobs they give you and you get paid around 60 percent of the income you made rest around 40 percent goes to the base.
We will talk about insurance and other expenses related to taxi in Ireland in next video.

      Monday-Friday it’s 5 multiple by €250=€€1250 how it’s ending up to €2200🤔
      Also 7:00-18:00 it’s 11 hours multiple by 5 it’s 55 hours!
I guess that you are not really good in maths 🤔
Take away from your €1250 fuel expenses, insurance ,car maintenance it’s another €200 so basically you making only €1000 a week!

Looks like you’re not really good at reading either, said that fuel +insurance, and car maintenance it’s roughly another €200 to minus ,I never mentioned that car maintenance is €200 p/w

500 a week to keep a car on the road? Does not seem accurate at all. You can rent a taxi for 150 a week including maintenance.

@@aightm8 if u can get a car for €150 take it you won’t get better
Don’t for get you have to get insurance which for a new driver is around €100 a week and the to fuel the car for the week is gona be about €150/200 a week not far off €500

Just tell me which taxi base is providing you a car and insurance !!! I’ll straight away cancel my insurance €3600 p/y and I’ll sell my car and also I won’t have to worry about my car age limit (10 years rule),also I will not have to pay my car maintenance costs !

    I don’t think so that you’re a taxi driver in Ireland 🤔
Otherwise you wouldn’t talk this bulshit!!!
To make €2200 a week you should stay on the road 24/7 and even then it’s hardly possible!!
Other thing, which taxi base does provide you a car and insurance??
Dublin isn’t busy anymore and to make that amount of money you should be really lucky!

is it worth it renting a taxi (with all the expenses related (insurance , fuel etc)) to work in dublin?

    • @777ewijan
      @777ewijan Před 9 měsíci

You can count that to rent a taxi it’s another €300-€350 minus your earnings!
And don’t believe what this person says (he has mo clue about taxi business in Ireland (not in Dublin ,not in Cork you won’t make that amount of money)
Average you can make €1500 p/w

      i guess 1000 p/w ( with all the expenses ) will be fine , i guess , isnt it
