Today, we revisit the popular Food Street at Woodlands MRT, which took place throughout the entire month of June 2024. The mega Woodgrove Pasar Malam and carnival pop-up featured over 60 different vendors, along with games and amusement rides. Visitors savored a variety of street foods from Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Moroccan, Thai, and halal cuisines, with prices starting at just $1. Food highlights included fried milk ($5), stuffed jacket potatoes (from $4), stinky tofu (from $8), Korean-style cream waffles (from $4.50), bamboo biryani (from $12), assorted taiyaki (from $3), fried durian ($10), jumbo seafood skewers (from $6), cheesy chicken sandwiches (from $5), and more. Classic pasar malam treats like Ramly burgers, takoyaki, sweet potato balls, rainbow jelly balls, grilled squid skewers, moo ping, fried banana, and tanghulu were also available. Besides food, there were retail stores selling accessories, toys, apparel, and gadgets. Entertainment options included Singapore’s first electric drift karting, bumper cars, spinning teacups, a meteorite ride, an inflatable bouncy castle, and a viking ship. Retro carnival games with prizes, arcade machines, and claw machines added to the fun. Ample seating areas adorned with neon fairy lights provided a pleasant dining experience. The Food Street was located outside Causeway Point and Woodlands MRT.
