Hello,
as you can see, during laser cutting there is a lot of smoke. More information about safety is here: czcams.com/video/bsj6qHHLynk/video.html
I do not recommend this process. For postprocessing CNC machining is good for cutting complex shapes. As lowcost version it is also possible to cut plastic board with knife or other hand tools.
