Hey, I wanted to know that in google, were you always given the task to develop a whole new feature or make small changes in the codebase of a certain feature because it is not necessary that always google releases a new feature.
Its a mix of both for every developer.

Right now, I am focusing more on development and GSOC this year. I have submitted my proposal and am receiving a good response from mentors. However, the issue lies with DSA. I am currently in my sophomore year and have done a little bit of competitive programming, but I am completely blank about DSA. Can you please suggest what I should do now? Should I completely focus on GSOC, or should I also focus on DSA alongside it?
And How you have prepared your DSA stuff?
I recommend getting a good grasp on DSA.

Hey Sanket, no frameworks were allowed, to setup server etc, is that correct? Let's say one wants to use Spring Boot, is that not allowed?
No nothing was allowed plain java project was expected

Wait, if the server and db is not allowed, then how exavtly are you expected to save the data, build a console etc ?

DSA just 1 round? So no point of grinding DSA a lot
For SDE 2 and for mid size startups, yes usually 1 round.
Grind DSA to become a good Software Engineer and not for interviews. Get out of this mindset.

They are hiring u but basically the company doing cost cutting. People are going out off Flipkart, mass resignation are happening. It is happening because they are not paying the existing employees. To maintain their severance rate they want the existing employees to leave the company. Yaha sb barbaad h. Literally no hikes on promos.

What are you trying to show? Recently you have joined microsoft, but now you are giving interviews in other companies, What is this? Don't you know recession is going on? There are many others who are looking for genuine jobs and due to your practise session (so called) you are eating others jobs :(. This is so bad behaviour
Bro i gave these interviews before joining msft. Recession is going on doesnt mean one cant get multiple offers. Companies rescind the offers of candidates in recession , who is responsible then? Also when u give interviews u r generally r involved in multiple processes and once u get multiple offers then u negotiate salary using those otherwise companies low ball your offer. Come to the real world appear for interviews crack them and then comment 🙃
Also the video is for information around the procedure and not to show what offer I goy otherwise I would have bragged the salary offer also.
