Do not ever keep personal data if you create FTP, because FTP sends your user id and password in plain text and it can be easily hacked, also the data which is transmitted is not encrypted.

IPV4 ips r limited to serve billions of internet devices. One need ipv6 for each to get a IP.

BSNL FTTH and ADSL have NO CGNAT, it is direct PUBLIC IP. Airtel also gives public IP but now switching to CGNAT. Jio is CGNAT from beginning. All Operators have CGNAT on their 2/3/4G networks

DDNS setup in router will help with dynamic IP address and Remote WAN access will help in accessing Ftp server. All this without purchasing Static IP. I tried it worked. Only issues I faced is router DDNS updating....mine is very very old RJ11/RJ45 dual mode router.
With DDNS in router with real time IP update,remote wan/ftp access...
IP:port/DDNS , username/password will help in accessing.

These wan settings are not there in airtel (nokia) router and even usb settings are basic not advanced, can you please guide on how to perform these settings on Airtel (nokia) router as settings are very different there.
