- I grew up in a time period where a lot of these icons sadly passed away. My teenage years were surrounded with learning about great leaders like Martin Luther King and JFK. Musically Aaliyah was one of the reasons why I fell in love with R & B in the first place. Her songs were timeless. I feel like it's a responsibility to let the younger generation know why we do the things that we do. These are my influences and I thank them for their place in our culture.

I find the most joy in dancing comes from the learning and creation. Performing is amazing, but nothing keeps you so pumped as finally acing that right move or being inspired by others or even just learning with a group of friends.

This is by far Andrew's most powerful piece--powerful video and choreography with creativity that is limitless and beautiful. The way he moves just not only inspires me but makes me remember why I love hip hop and R&B, why i love dancing-- the part where Aaliyah was swimming into the light is so beautiful...hopefully I'll get to work with his amazing talent someday

I remember when I first started dancing all I wanted to do was impress people. Now as time has passed and as i've grown up around dance i've started to realise the true meaning of it. Andrew, you are truely an inspiration to the youth of todays generation. You are one of the reasons why i'm continuing this amazing journey. I may not be the best dancer in the world, but it's people like you who make me believe that I have potential to grow. Just .. amazing, hands down. True respect.
