- Hello everybody and welcome to a game called CityDriver.
CityDriver is the latest release from Aerosoft and ViewApp. ViewApp are the company responsible for games such as TramSim Munich and TramSim Vienna, so it should come as no surprise that CityDriver is based in the German city of Munich!
Today I'm going to be taking a first look of the game. I've never played this game so we'll be looking at how easy it is to set up, along with how quickly we can pick up the basics. There doesn't seem to be a strict way of playing this game, I'm getting the impression it's quite sandbox-y.

It’s not the worst game in the world, but I’m not going to lie for £31 I was expecting a bigger map to explore 😭
I think the Steam reviews draw a clear picture..

I cannot understand why the comments aren't filled with people pointing out the obvious - that this game is utter trash? Visuals, sound, physics, gameplay (lack of), bugs, Tiny map. It's a car crash (pun intended).
This is a great game. But I have already messed up the axis configuration for the pedels. There doesn't seem to have a reset option so my advice is, never mess with those configurations. I can't get my pedals to work now.

The sounds..... OMG. How can that thin, hissy mess sound so bad, when OMSI (from 2011) has near perfect engine and auxilliary sounds? This sound is worse than TSW and that's saying something.

View app said that they are planning a ps5 and xbox series release for this in Q4

You do not have a C63 AMG, I work as a security guard & I have a Scirocco Sport

I'm going to be completely honest this game looks absolutely trash the visuals are pretty horrible for a 2023 game and the physics are on the Bus Simulator 21 type of level
You do stick to the road haha, very difficult to spin your car or understeer!
can u place to follow the traffic rules for next but the game is brilliant

I'm impressed all these new UE5 games look as bad as they do with so many tools like substance painter, and of course UEs actual tools to aid with graphics. Physics derived from Mario Kart too presumably. What a waste of a game.
As a concept, it's a good game... I'm just struggling to like it :( It seems like a repurpose of the TramSim Munich map with very little added on.
