Bloody marvellous! I H A T E gyprock and installing anything in it! No matter how diligent I am; it always seems to stuff up. I gonna go buy me one of them there hollow wall anchor tools and never have to worry again. I’ve seen them- but it’s even better to see how they work and what they can do. I thank you for that. I’m now a new “liker” and subscriber.
@0-0-0 QSR Sorry to hear you've been having problems. I haven't had one fail at all. Maybe you're not pulling them up all the way. Without seeing how you're using it, I'm afraid I won't be much help. Apologies for the vagueness of my reply. Chris
Very VERY helpful video & tutorial, Mr Our House - and as a fellow creator, I liked the way you edited this all together also................ I was going to suggest something about your PLAYLISTS also, but I can see you have already cleverly put the video subjects into some very helpful playlists as well. Well done, and VERY MUCH LIKED!!! (including the subtle Channel name-change)
I wish I had that yesterday when I put up a glass shelf in the bathroom. I used what are called “molly bolts” in the U.S., but they look quite similar. It was very frustrating and took a lot of time. I believe several of them stripped and I’m not comfortable with their strength at this point. If I can find this gadget I’ll buy it and replace them. Thanks for the video!
Super useful video, exactly what I needed. I remember being given some of these to put up some speakers in my room as a teenager and having that exact problem where they punched right through the wall. Appreciate the info.
G'day fella, loved the way you presented the video. I have a couple of questions, I would like to use the largest anchor for towel rails, but I think the screw head would be too large for the mounting plate. Can you suggest a better option please, keep in mind i do want the best anchor available for this and at the end of your video you showed other anchors and i would like to know what was the very last anchor you showed?
At 8:54, what size drill bit did you use to drill the hole on the plasterboard please? If you could drop a direct link to the correct drill bit type and size from Bunnings, that would be great.
Great video. What size nail did you use to punch the pilot hole through? Do you have a preference over which size hollow wall anchor is best suited for hanging pictures on 10mm plasterboard?
Hey Adam. Considering you are buying the Wall Anchors in packets, l would always opt for the larger Wall Anchors as mentioned in the video. To me it will give a wider spread of the legs once collapsed, making it more secure. The size of the nail is not so important for the pilot hole, just as long as the drill bit tip fits in. Good luck and thanks for the support. Cheers.
Thanks for this informative video. Liked and subbed. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Tassie 👍
Thank you for clarifying what happens to screw when trigger released as I wasn’t sure Re the timing of release
Great explanation and execution mate!!
