Villa fan here. i thought Lolley was motm that day. he was a beast. ran the whole field pulling the strings. we should have made an attempt to sign him for 19/20 considering he is a villa fan and all.

Andrew Ellis Iâve seen the offside decision and it was correct. Abraham was marginally offside when Elmo shot and then bundled it over the line after the keeper partially saved it. Still not seen the El Ghazi one but judging by his reaction at the time assume that was also correct. Definitely odd that they are not included here though!

What a match... i dont usually watch championship matches but this game was crazy... i hope to see both forest and villa come up to the prem and make things more interesting
Forest fan here - what a crazy, crazy game - đ Both teams can defend so much better than that, while we both proved how dangerous we are up front....I know I'm biased, but Lolly is one of the best midfielders I've ever seen at Forest, and I've been following them for 28 years so I've seen a few players come and go đThink we'll both finish Top 8, hopefully higher, Good luck for rest of the season.

I've defended Nyland up until this point, but I won't anymore. That was shocking last night. 5 shots leave to 5 goals? Unforgivable. New keeper imminent in January now. Do we give Moirera a chance? We'll have to outscore opponents to win matches because our defence is shocking. Chester was terrible last night too.

@@sidvicious05 Don't think you grasped the point..I meant that we'll concede goals with Nylad between the sticks until we get a quality replacement. Until then, we'll have to rely on our attacking quality to compensate for our poor defence.

Yes from what I've seen of Nyland he is just not a big enough keeper that we require. We need somebody to command the box, at least try to save shots etc. The wonder strike from Lolley, didn't even try to save it and the Grabben second goal, beat at his near post. Bring back Jed Steer , I'm sure he's better than this.

I looked up Lolly after this game because what this young man showed vs A V was something 99% of people on this planet could only dream of doing.
I don't think you can blame Nyland for the first four, but a goalie should never be beaten at his near post. The day when Villa can see out a 5-4 win against ten men is the day we become serious contenders.
That long shot from Lolley should've been saved, from that far out to not even bother to move is just appalling. It hardly went to the top corner, from one of the angles you can see that he had so much time to do something but just stood there. Any other keeper would've tried for it. We need to give Moreira a game, even Bunn.
I watched it on the highlights and the ball took a nasty swerve which wrong footed him. It was a wet and windy night don't forget.
@@markanderson1313 It took the deflection straight away, Hourihane was right in front of Joe Lolley. As a keeper they should be trained in different scenarios. He had plenty of time to at least attempt the save. Nyland would have no reason to be wrong footed before the deflection because he'd have no idea where the ball is going.
No mate there was definitely no deflection. He had so much time to adjust but just rooted to the floor. It was well hit but was a nice height for a save. It was a shocker from Nyland.
no deflection, it wasn't an easy save to make but you have to expect your keepers to help you out in those scenarios. he's made some great saves this year but has cost us far more points than he's saved us.
he's had his time give Moreira a go or send him back and get someone in.

I've held back having a pop at Nyland so far as he needed time to settle in BUT a top keeper could of kept 3 of Forests goals out. The one where Hutton and Chester I think slide in either side of your man in the box should of stood taller, the screamer he didn't move from that far out he some time to move at least and it was arms length from him. And the 5th well don't have to say anything about that!!

Class game villa were weak at the defence at times poor positioning, not gonna say any thing bout Nyland he knows well. Tammy abraham pure quality. Well played notts forest, grabban was a steal for them, cant wait until we play yous again hopefully we'll be able to bring you an even better match. Dean Smith keep up the great work!!

Where are Villa's other 2 goals we scored last night? I was there and I saw Villa score 7 goals. Extended highlights show a bit of huttons fight with a player sent off, but not the 2 disallowed goals. Were the disallowed goals more controversial than the fight? I was really hoping to see the disallowed goals, as in the moment, you miss things from the stands.

Incredible! Forest score five away from home-- enough to win two games and yet they are thankful for a point with 10 men. Tammy Abrahams scores four v. Forest on Tuesday and misses four v. WBA on Friday night when Villa fans see another cracking game Fourteen goals in three days. Dontcha just love football. WAWAW!

Tough, couldâve probably done better with the last two but he had very little time to react to Grabbanâs. As for lolleyâs, itâs a pretty poor error but I reckon weâve got bigger issues with our defence.
