Kautuk man. My native place is Udupi and now sitting in Germany, you are making me miss Indian food! Buns is the best bro. Man the jackfruit idli are a staple at my house. I would love to host you in Udupi and show you around.
Doner kebabs and kapsalon is the best junk food options available here in Netherlands! It's a dish invented by Turkish immigrant, it's french fries, shawarma/ falafel, some lettuce, garlic sauce and sambal sauce and topped with cheese. And then this whole thing is put in the oven for the top layer cheese to melt 😍
Kautuk is right about the sweet fried buns...
In coastal Karnataka we call it simply "buns", made with mashed bananas, flour, sugar and spiced with a touch of ground cumin which can be eaten by dipping in both kurma(bhaji) and chatni. My favourite and would recommend everyone to try atleast once.😋
