Best ending is the one where you shoot the hologram boy. Sure that means you fight a conventional war a against the Reapers, but even though it eliminates most, if not all space faring races, it does eliminate the Reapers. Sure the destroy ending kills all the Reapers... in the galaxy. For all we know they could have reinforcements waiting in dark space at the edge of the galaxy and rush in when any element zero technology is destroyed, leaving all the races vulnerable. And for the control ending, sure you get control, because the collective consciousness of the Reapers would never lie to you and just put you in a simulation where you think you're in control, right? And for the synthesis ending, congratulations, you just gave the Reapers an early retirement. As of before, they had to wait for most species to become space faring in order to even find them in order to harvest them and have them become Reapers, now since everywhere in the galaxy is now joined with the Reaper collective. Now the Reapers won't have to worry about having to commit galactic genocide for the harvest, because you've done it for them until everything eventually dies, though Reapers are close to immortal, if not immortal. Unless they decide to make their subordinates immortal as well, there'll probably be another harvest in who knows, probably millions, if not billions of years into the future.

There was somekind of point system in that matter. You had to have 5/7 (?) points so you can make peace between geth and quarian. Choices that gave points were something like: complete admiral koris mission and save his life ( 1+1), destroy geth heretics (2), Tali needs to be innocent of treason (2)... +Both have to be loyal in ME2 and all Rannoch missions completed
The problem in mass effect 2 is that being both might make it difficult to maintain both Jack's and Miranda's loyalty. It was nicer in the other games.

Legion and Tali must be present (neither dead during the suicide mission, or Legion sold to Cerberus). If you played it smart, you got Tali acquitted during her loyalty mission (so she's loyal and her father wasn't declared a traitor) and then Shepard breaks up the argument between Tali and Legion. Finally, you need high reputation (which you'll have unless you rushed the main questline) and complete the planet's sidequests before Priority: Rannoch. That said, this wasn't done in this video because that specific paragon interrupt doesn't appear unless you side with the geth and let the quarians die.
Yeah, for 2 games Shepard begs the Quarians not to go on the war with the geth, so how is Shepard responsible for Quarians deaths? I'm sorry, but it was the Quarians that killed themselves and not Shepard.

While I am *immensely* grateful to Bioware that they did NOT think of this, I couldn't help but think while watching this scene-- if Samara *really* wanted to save Falere by committing suicide, why didn't she just throw Shepard off with her biotics, THEN put a bullet in her head? She probably could have done it before Shepard got back up and over to her again. I know that most biotic powers need use of arms or hands (mostly for ensuring the attack goes where it is intended) but with Shepard and Samara standing THAT close to each other, I think a forceful pulse of her biotic field would have done the trick nicely; NOT that I am complaining though-- Samara was one of my favorite characters in Mass Effect 2, and I about damn near broke my PS3 controller from hitting the button to *STOP* her from going through with it.
You know what I love about number 1? That you can use dialogue in certain circumstances without it affecting paragon or renegade. Dialogue like, "your grasp of the obvious is inspiring..." and "someone up there needs my boot up his ass" is just too funny and sarcastic, what you'd actually say in that situation. Whereas number 2 and 3 they force you one way or the other. I want to pick the dialogue I WANT to pick. It's why I do alot of renegade walkthroughs. Not because of the main decisions, but because of the realistic dialogue choices. I love paragon walkthroughs but some instances like getting the quarians and geth to work together, you're going to be frustrated in that moment because the quarians are acting stupid by constantly trying to fire. So in that instance I'd want to choose the renegade option and tell them to bloody stop it or I'll just stand back because am fed up of trying to stop them killing each other

Every time for me too man. I played all three games three times trying to get that ending, I looked up guides did every thing g they said...never got it
I never had Javik (lack of DLC) but the end of the video is pretty tough. The ending still makes me a bit upset in a bitter-sweet way. Sure Shepherd wins and saves everyone... But he's gone.
There is one you missed, a paragon interrupt against the reaper destroyer on Rannoch when you speak to it with paragon options. A similar renegade interrupt occurs which is somewhat more epic. I wont spoil it ;)
There is one that you missed: On Rannoch, when talking to the reaper, if you choose the paragon choice without asking it to explain the whole "cycle" thing, a paragon interrupt will appear a minute later. It's shown in this video: /watch?v=Oen2wTFnacg (The conversation choice starts at 7:00, and the interrupt is around 8:00)
Of course there are many here who know it. Thing is there are some things that HAVE TO BE DONE in order to accomplish this. -Import Savegame from ME 2 -During Tali's trial, make sure she is not exiled and KEEP PUSHING FOR PEACE! -Legion must survive the suicide mission in ME 2 -Save Admiral Korris from his crashsite on Rannoch. -Enough Paragon / Renegade points to make Han cease fire. In order to make Han cease fire, you need Tali's and Korris' authority to speak and voilá! 2 Fleets 4 you!

You MUST play ME2 (Actually play the three games. The series is good said for the last five minutes in ME3) but you must do this. First: Tali must not be exiled from her fleet at her trail. Second: You have to do a Renegade choice at Legion loyalty quest at the end (after the fight) before you leave the ship.

I never had Javik (lack of DLC) but the end of the video is pretty tough. The ending still makes me a bit upset in a bitter-sweet way. Sure Shepherd wins and saves everyone... But he's gone.
Could you now do a paragon video where you don't do the paragon interrupts.
There is one you missed, a paragon interrupt against the reaper destroyer on Rannoch when you speak to it with paragon options. A similar renegade interrupt occurs which is somewhat more epic. I wont spoil it ;)

There is one that you missed: On Rannoch, when talking to the reaper, if you choose the paragon choice without asking it to explain the whole "cycle" thing, a paragon interrupt will appear a minute later. It's shown in this video: /watch?v=Oen2wTFnacg (The conversation choice starts at 7:00, and the interrupt is around 8:00)

-Enough Paragon / Renegade points to make Han cease fire.
In order to make Han cease fire, you need Tali's and Korris' authority to speak and voilá! 2 Fleets 4 you!

Because more people played Paragon than they did Renegade. So that means there are more people who are interested in seeing what the the Renegade options are. I can provide links that back up my claim of more Paragon than Renegade if anyone is interested.

You MUST play ME2 (Actually play the three games. The series is good said for the last five minutes in ME3) but you must do this. First: Tali must not be exiled from her fleet at her trail. Second: You have to do a Renegade choice at Legion loyalty quest at the end (after the fight) before you leave the ship.
