Appreciate you making this video. I'm new to using dry bags and really didn't know how all the buckles worked so I searched for a how to video and came across your channel. You helped me out a lot so I just subscribed to your channel to learn some more about adventure biking. Thanks again!

Glad I found this video, I was just about to buy a 60 litre.
I would use it for all the same things you are.
    I will get a 40 instead.
    Thanks.

Great review! It looks like this 40l may be too long to fit across my Super Tenere pillion seat in front of my top case. I don't have panniers and this might just kinda hang way over? My question is, have you tried mounting it horizontally across the seat without panniers supporting it? Thanks!!

You should be fine mounting it perpendicular to the motorcyle. At least with the 40 liter

I just want a bag that i can fit a Lunchbox and some clothing items in for my commute to work on my motorcycle, but i dont need anything that mounts to the motorcycle. If these had a better strap like a duffel bag, i would get one because it could be useful for longer motorcycle trips. But looks like ill be going with more of a hiking style backpack

I'll double check but im 99% sure this bag has a duffle bag strap. Alternatively there's a lot of tail bag/back pack options out there that may fit your need a little better.

@@WeekendAdventureRides Yea i saw in the video that it does have a strap for carrying, but it looks like it might not be very comfortable. I ended up buying an adidas gym bag, i think that should work fine for a commute and i can use it for the gym too. Thanks for the reply

How heat resistant is the bag? I am going to mount in on top of aluminium bags but the exhaust is in between the aluminium bag and the bike which makes me a bit worried as it is PVC?

Is there a heat shield? Plastic doesnt hold up great to heat. I would say add a heat shield if there isnt one, if it touches the bare exhaust its gonna melt.
