Dimash was offered a position at a famous Opera house but he turned it down. Opera is very rigid and structured and Dimash is a free spirit that wants to try everything music.😂😂😂 He drips with creativity.
This is likely his least impressive music video, mostly because he had no control over production issues and it was close to first.

One thing about this song is that it varies a lot between performances. Dimash often varies songs from performance to performance, but in my 5 or so years of watching Dimash reactions and performances, this song is one of the *most* variable of them all. Sometimes there are vocal pyrotechnics, sometimes there are zombies, sometimes he's underwater, sometimes he raps, sometimes it seems very intimate, sometimes he's on the lip of the stage courting the audience -- you name it, this song seems to have it, depending on which version you're seeing. Add to that the fact that he does these things not just in studio, but also *live* , and it's simply incredible. The ultra-high vocal popcorning in this version is simply stunning, & he does *that* live, too.

That's the beauty of Dimash. Because he can do it all and because his voice is so incredible with fans across all musical preferences, his talent introduces many of them to genres they would never have listened to before. He broadens our musical scope. One of Dimash's style is crossover opera. It will be interesting to watch and hear your thoughts when you listen to the more operatic side of him. Here are a few suggestions, "Olimpico (aka Ogni Pietra)" (in Italian), "El Amor En Ti (in Spanish) and "The Fisher's Duet" (in French). This last piece is pure traditional opera, a duet with 83 yrs old Placido Domingo, the world renowned opera tenor of his generation.

Dimash is genre and vocal bender
Dimash has done several opera performances, singing with Placedo Domingo one time, but he says opera is rigid, you can’t add any flavours of your own, so he does what he calls crossover or popera styles. But he can also sing regular pop songs, like Golden, Give Me Your Love, Fly Away, when I’ve got you, Zhalyn, Layla, my beauty, lay down, etc. he is so versatile.

His mom sings opera, his dad sings pop hence him want to fuse pop opera. This was his first video after the competition I AM SINGER. Have you listened to War and Peace, he wrote that. Great reaction.

You should check another version of this Idol Hits - one of the best things about Dimash is that he hardly ever performs songs the same. He’s always changing things up live

Another amazing singer this time from the UK you both should definitely react to is 20 year old Lucy Thomas. She's just released her 5th studio album and has millions of fans around the world. Try her cover of Whitney Houston's "Run To You" from the film "The Bodyguard" I guarantee you'll both be impressed.

Dimash was offered a place at the Astana Opera House, Where his mother sang. But he declined because he wanted to sing different genras of music to create popera. Popera mixes pop with classical music and even mixes in R&B, Jazz, Rock, and Rap.
He said that he wants to experiment until is he still young, but in opera there is no space for experiments.

Sinful passion -- I also recommend that you do a diva dance reaction but because it's short I recommend both doing diva dance and also checking out a different version like his duet with Li Yugang that has a totally different take on diva dance. It's the "alien song" from Fifth Element and anyone who remembers that scene and knows the background of Diva Dance is impressed by his version.

Dimash was offered a position at the prestigious Astana Opera but decided he wanted to go in a different direction. He is a true musician. The only genre I have not heard him sing is country. He even raps. He has sung in 13 or 14 languages and is able to convey the message of those songs to the audience even though he does not speak most of those languages . He also plays seven instruments: piano, keyboards, dombra, drums, guitar, marimba and bayan and has perfect pitch. Quite the resume 🤯 ❤
