Hey Dakon! I have a question, we don't know this but later on when minecraft updates and have new updates and features, how much potential can addons impact bedrock version of minecraft, do you think that it would ever reach the same level as java mods or not? I would love to see your reply on this
Bedrock is better in many way java mods are cool and pathed the way flr Bedrock but I enjoy this over java I own both and if I wanted those mods I would download java version but its nice to convert some to Bedrock as well
Epic! This really helped me out with my little fun addon (just something I'm making for fun, mainly a personal addon but eh). I was wondering a couple different things. Firstly, when my custom UI bar reaches 5 and below, it replaces the star images with the original symbols (Like the quarter sign), and wasn't sure exactly why. Just a small error that I'm not sure why it happens.
Secondly, this UI bar is a sort of mana bar kind of deal, and I wasn't sure how to get it so when mana hits 0, the spell cannot be used. Anyhow, this video was truly helpful!

Dakon, have you heard of Minecraft Inner Core. It is literally the only thing on Bedrock with Mods that have as much potential to do as crazy stuff as Java. Sadly it recently has had so many bugs that it won't work any more when trying to open/create a world I was wondering if the bedrock edition community (including you specifically) could look through Inner Core's app files to see if you can decifer the code and try and implement it in Minecraft Bedrock! Inner core also last was updated in 2018 and was created in 2017 and hasn't been updated since. Thanks Dakon

Dakon can you make it where when you hold a food item it shows how much hunger you will restore when eating it like the mod or data pack on java. Please reapond back to me if you are able to do that or if you cant.
Its definitely possible, if you wanted something like this you could use /clear (YOUR NAME HERE) (FOOD ITEM) 0 1, and then with a chain command block on conditional, have: /title (YOUR NAME HERE) actionbar (AMOUNT OF HUNGER).

Wanna challenge? Make a hunger bar that is an actual bar and it slowly goes from full to empty like you would see in a lot of java mod packs

Hi, i’m not that great at commands. But this is how i did my map randomiser. I had a couple armour stands named different things in a small box (5x5x5) and had a command block with tp @e[c=1,type=armor_stand,r=4] (coordinates to a location near the box) in the middle. the amount of armour stands you have is how many maps you have. Now once you have done that you place a command block near the coordinates that you are teleporting the armour stands to. and put testfor @e[name=(one of the names of the armour stands),x=(whatever x coordinate the armour stand is on),y=(whatever y coordinate the armour stand in on),z=(whatever z coordinate the armour stand is on)] in that command block, then set it to repeat and always active. Place down another command block near the coordinates and do the same thing but when you get to @e[name= you do a different armour stands name. The place red stone comparators behind the command blocks and /clone or whatever to get the map at the place you want. Hope this helps you. Please ask if you have any questions. I suck at explaining things. -🐔

Yep, you can! Use an editor like bridge: bridge-core.github.io/ And make a custom function. To have it always running, plug one center command into the tick.json file (make a function called runtime of something, that has all the other functions in it).

I was really hoping for it too. I just think the perspective button should still be on the HUD like in early P.E. I figured it would as you should be able to kind of recreate the interaction on a custom hud button, but I'm here just to even try to understand the UI json files, and glad to see this question was asked and answered. I'm sure it'll be possible eventually. Just gotta wait patiently.
