  • In the video, a white color new energy vehicle that was charging suddenly exploded. It generated a powerful shockwave that sent the car vertically soaring. It appears that the car was propelled to 3 to 5 meters. In slow-motion footage, it can be observed that parts resembling car doors were also propelled by the shockwave as the car shot upwards.

      Some of this is pure anti China BS. The one supposedly going to a cemetery is suspicious as the language of the auto assistants in English, currently the Chinese domestic cars do not use English on the mainland. The sales in January plummeted as the government tax free incentive ended 31-12-2023, this resulted in record sales in December and a cliff drop in sales in January.

Notice the absence of flames associated with Lithium ion battery fires? Notice the cases at the bottom left of the screen that look suspiciously like cases used in the film industry?

    • @Plainsburner
      @Plainsburner Před 4 měsíci +8

      @@simonl4657 I don't think the rate of fire in Tesla's is greater than normal cars. The main problem appears to be putting them out, which is significantly harder as thermal runaway in batteries burns significant hotter and longer than gas. Most cases are caused by collisions, which would be fatal if the collision caused difficulty in the passengers being able to exit the vehicle.
      The rate of explosions and fires of Chinese EVs is significantly higher than anything else on the market.

    The work to engineer a good EV battery isn't easy. Just a few years ago we had BYD batteries being touted as so safe.. now we see that they have problems when they put them into packs. Single batteries are one thing battery packs are something entirely different. Managing batteries and keeping them safe isn't as easy as it looks. Chevy Bolt shows just the same kind of issue.

      Scandinavia has been crazy enough to try out electric excavators, only to find out the batteries won't even last until lunch. So what do they do? Hook the excavators on to fuel-driven electric generators. Hurray for technology!

      Yeah, there's no way we're going to be able to adopt this tech unless it's centralized on an electromagnetic rail network. Just make the roads move on tracks and any old lawnmower could get places at consistent speeds. But I also think the same has applied to gas powered vehicles for decades now and way too many people perish because of operational/technical failures. It's unacceptable for a shared public roadway

      The NEWER batteries LiFe-Po4 based on iron and phosphor are safer, lighter, hold more charge and cheaper to make, and being made right here in the US

      @@HobbyOrganistLiFePo has been tried for a while, and as I can remember there's been problems with it slowly leaking power. Has this been solved yet?
      There are brands now focusing on synthetic fuels instead, and that's also an option. I have too much background in the natural sciences to really believe in this climate hysteria though. Do we change the nature around us in a way that can't go forward? Yes but it's not nearly that dramatic.

    People are FINALLY catching on, are they? It all looks like a movie the way the cars are jumping 3 to 5 meters into the air of their own accord and spontaneously catching fire as well. The best place for EVs are in the junk yard with the batteries encased in concrete in steel drums. Although, that last one could cause all sorts of havoc by itself. So much for the EV Movement. Word of caution: DO NOT park those “ Bouncing Betties” in your garage or you may wake up engulfed in flames or find your EV on the roof of your house or on your neighbor’s roof when you go out to go to work the next morning.

    Recently while listening on NPR I’ve heard two different programs talking about BYD and, although they aren’t praising or welcoming them, I cringe when I hear anyone talk about BYD but never mention these spontaneous combustions.

    We had an e bike that caught on fire in the subway on the TTC in Toronto last week. It's a good thing the employees of the TTC were on the ball and got everyone out safely. The subway car was at a stop at the time, if it was underground things would of been a lot worse. There was so much smoke and ruin the car. Thank God everyone was okay one guy went to the hospital. I don't think they'll be allowing them on anymore.

      I would never buy one or ride in one we saw one catch fire here in Connecticut on the Portland bridge and it was horrible like explosion, then some lady had her Cadillac she was using as a loaner from the dealership.. she parked it in her garage and it also exploded. I honestly think they shouldn't be on the roads but damn Democrats are making sure school buses here in rural towns will have them soon. :(
