Played by: Tsunao & Genbu
Platformer by friggin' Capcom.
Fat Cat is out of prison or something and Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale (Rescue Rangers) are at it again...or something. I skipped the cutscenes because they bore me.
I control Chip (Player 1) while bro controls Dale (Player 2). No skills involved. Deaths here and there because two-player makes the game harder (and perfect gameplays are BORING! Needz moar deaths). -

One of my favourite games during childhood. ❤ Nostalgia
favorite game as a kid, now i realize it was a piece of art. great music, stages, artwork and gameplay, this should be on the top ten games in history.
yeah true for her time she is good time she have good gameplay good levels good music and good graphics for her time true that was verry good game
My brother and me beat this game in a week , we were so thrilled when our first SEGA console was gifted on christmas , and this was the first game we played
I remember throwing my partner to the enemy :)
Haha same my bro
Haha, so do I, man! 👱🚶☝️😀😄😆😁😊
You mean throwing your brother 😆
Jajaja me too, so it was easier to defeat to the boss
Instead of the boxes it was also possible to use the partner as the weapon
Ah, the memories. I was always Dale and my sister Chip.
Too bad they couldn't add gadget the female squirrel for girls to play.
Hey young hi
Shall we play online together?
i will cry.. my childhood game
i really miss my old days😭😭😭😭😭
yeah for me too dude that amazing time how much time i play her when we was kids :D and how you need to put in the game in the console just was amazing time i play this game every night it was the best i wanna back to my good time :)
omg !
Nostalgia just hit me so hard. Can't believe I almost forgot this was a nes game 😮
Making excuses to miss school and playing this game early in the morning with very low sound to not disturb others .... What a time it was!
haha true or if i have vacantion days my family speeps i wake up early in the morning and just play with how sound is almost the same true it was super amazing time i wanna back in time it was super amazing thing
This is my entire childhood bro. I just have all those memories of the soundtrack and graphics coming back. I played the Japanese version though not the English version, but still this is a classic game!!!!
It was one of the best NES game in the world!
true it was when i was kid i have first and second game they was amazing the second only the final boss is hard but they are cool games im happy i have it them when i was kid now i play them from internet but was verry good
This game is way ahead of it’s time!
Me and my cousin literally spent every weekend just replaying this game when we were in elementary school. I always played Chip and she always played Dale. But back then we had the Japanese version of the game and cannot understand any of the texts, so we just called them "The one wearing hat" and the "Bald one". T__T So nostalgic.
I also had an imported copy so only now I finally understood the plot. :D
So much memories with this game
true for me too it was super amazing time we need to back in time :D it was the best
Rented this game as a kid but had to take it back because the ghost enemy scared the crap outta me and I mean the one with flaming head and hands. As a kid, it looked so much bigger and scarier; it's amazing how things look like as a kid.
the portrait of the man with the hat, in the haunted mansion level that changes its face when the lights get dark used to creep me out. it's amazing when as a kid you find video games more creepy than the movies. they provide you that strange atmosphere which movies don't have.
28 and Still playing it 😎😎😎
Nice.
Very nice bro
you skipped the bonus stage at 10:47 T_T
bastketball
Nostalgian games will never die 🙂
Wonderful memories 🙂
One of my childhood games which I still absolutely love - I beat it again yesterday, I can't count which time :D It's a masterpiece for its time - the gameplay, the music, the graphics, it's awesome! I've always had the Japanese version, so I didn't understand anything - thanks to this video I've finally found out what the plot is ;)
любимая игра детства
@ 10:47 the player guys should have take that bonus stage. It can only be accessed by 2 players and as far as I remember one should thow the other in while walking. If one ranger picks the other up or a (crate) and walks continuosly it starts to flash. If the ranger is thrown while flashing you can hurt enemies and don't get hurt while in flying animation. You can kill ghost boss this way even without balls it leaves behind. They could also use feinted enemies instead of avoiding them like 05:02
Thanks you for your video! That is my favorite game when I was a child. I feel so happy when I have a chance to see it again. Thanks you very very much!
The first time I played this game as a kid, the NES actually reset at 9:12 so I kinda thought I picked the wrong wire...
Checksum error
damn the nostalgia. wish i could go back in time.
Omg the sound when fighting the boss at 39:00 . Still remember it till now 🤣
I was playing this game as a toddler before I could read. I had no idea the stakes were this high, a whole missing time-bomb? Jeeez😅
25:01 What a scary level. Light coming out of the eyes of those pictures scared the hell out of me when I was a child. There was a drawn portrait of a woman in my home. I made my mother throw it out. The End.
What is interesting is that you could access secret bonus basket ball game room if you teamed up. You could win a silver RR plate (worth 10), a gold RR plate (worth 30), a 1UP, and even the unique opportunity to get a Continue orb!
Woah, I never thought that this is a continue orb! I thought it's useless!
25:50 I remember I had no idea how to get out of that room and I was restarting game all the time xD
Good old days..!
Me pueden decir cómo salir de la habitación??? Ya hice el intento como lo muestran en el video pero nada, no puedo!!!!! Qué desesperante!!!! Estos si son juegos 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I miss the days when companies other than Nintendo made these kind of games
100% agreed.
I used to play with my elder brother 🥲. Really miss those days after school time
I have no idea why but i was crazy about this game for some reason as a kid, now that i look at it it doesnt look like much, but back in the day it was the bomb. I thought i was gonna have a heart attack on certain levels from how stressful it was for me as a kid :D
50:28 a more efficient way to deal with the Fatcat Robot is by making it hurt itself. If a bomb falls from the same spot the Danger warning shows, don't grab the bomb, as it will explode anyway, hurting the boss in the process.
игра моей молодости
Awesome game, i still have the 1 and 2 on Family Game.
See that before?
22:57 Long Distance Runaround - Yes
36:06 Looking out my back door - Creedence Clearwater Revival
How the frame rate slows down when there are too many enemies or too much animation on screen.
You know, you could pick and throw an unconscious enemy, and sometimes when the partner throws something toward you, you can catch it instead of getting hit.
I've never played this. im going to have to try it out.
Childhood game :3 missed it
Memories❤. I remember I used to play this game with my uncle
This game is rare and worth a good chunk of money to collectors, especially if you have the box, manual and everything. About 1.5K in great condition as of 2022.
The reason is when it was released in 1993, the Super NES had already been around for 3 years, so Nintendo was ramping down production of NES cartridges to get people into the new system. On top of this, the show ended in 1990, so interest in merchandising the Rescue Rangers was fading fast.
Still a solid game for the time and many fans of the first one were pleased that even though it was a sequel, they stuck to the formula and aesthetic of the first.
I miss my childhood 😭😭 I love to play this game❤❤❤
this was one of my favourite games on nes back then and it was the oly game i really tried to finsih and even managed to finish it, even i hated it when i had to restart because there was no save game back
the first game i've played in my life
Childhood memories , really old days are gold days ...
Oh man, that ghost level was so frustrating, and so was the boss of that stage.
I played this game on my NDS using an emulador 10 years ago.
Time flies.
This should be on the Switch bro. Totally awesome i remember playing with my cousing. Good times!
Incredible soundtrack!!! Great memories!!!
That final boss music is sooo badass
Absolutely!
Plus, I played it on a PAL-speed NES clone, so the music was slower and even more epic! It wasn't until the second half of the 2000s that I realized that as a kid I played all the games slower than they are supposed to. They are better than way though, at least the music :)
yeah he is he scared me when i was kid and only he was hard for me but now i understand how to finish him and i play the game again and finaly i finish it him he is easy if you learn how to do it
Bring back memories
24:35 30 yars ago, and nothing more creepy created. Best game, best soundtrack
Good old memories, I recall playing this and darkwing duck for hours on rented game console.. I put so much money that time, probably worth 1 million today.. :) but that joy of playing is never going to be the same.. that's priceless ...
So what's the catch on 25:56? An easter egg? We did not get an idea back in '94 and thought the room was a deathtrap with no way to get out... My sis and I would restart the entire game if accidently entered the 'button room'.
So many good times playing this game as a kid. I watch it now and relive all of it.
I hated level 2 boss. I couldn't figure out how to kill him.
noob he is easy only the last boss is hard little
I agree! That's the one that actually requires some skill. The robot cat is complicated but it kills it self most of the time lmao.
this game is so nice i go back my childhood days nice
For an 8-bit platform, Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers 2, the sequel to the 1990 video game for the NES, comes off rather well and, if anything, makes you wish for a 16-bit version!
Oh mein Gott... Thanks so much...❤ ich war 8 j... Hatte damals eine Lungenentzündung... hatte es mit meiner Tante gespielt.... Es ist Nostalgie... Danke....
Wow I never knew they made a second one!! I'm about to download this and play it on my phone!
One of my favorite NES games :)
I have played this game countless times, to the point of considering it one of my favorite nes games, I was unaware of these bonus levels 25:43 until now, great and fun game :)
i miss this game so much...i playing since im 8yo
I never knew there was a sequel to this game. Looks like it's one of the best on the nes.
Some other games you might want to look at if you like Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers for NES
The Jetsons: Cogwell's Cogs NES
Mickey's Dangerous Chase Game Boy
Squirrel King Pirate Sega Genesis/Megadrive
Super Mario World Pirate (It's Squirrel King, but different levels) Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
You can grab your friend wal back and foward to make him blink and use it to damage enemies.
lol this brings lots of memories. I beat this game when i was 9 and when i saw the last boss i was like "omg Doraemon"
7:32 this was the boss I was fighting
the sound track hits hard
I remember throwing partner on full speed
I was the eldest child so I usually played alone (sometimes with dad) back then using japanese version (we don't even know what's the texts). There are areas and bonus that can only be reached by using 2 players.
Second boss is the hardest. Other than that, the one in the ship because the platfrom is sinking. Surprisingly the last one is quite easy even compared to other level.
Seeing this makes me sad because this game was released after the show ended and late in the Famicom era. Long live the 8-bit era
A very nice game that reminds me of my youth. Sometimes I replay it a little bit thanks to an emulator.
it wasnt until yesturday that i even knew this game existed
Such memories..
i love that the stages are just normal places but because of the scale they are dangerous enviroments. we soo need remastred version of these not just ports
41:15 Love that theme song,it's so happily :) This theme song would be better if it be putten into last level, but ok,it doesn't matter it's nice
Also, brings back a lot of good memories
31:20 My favorite music starts from here
36:06 Also 😊😊😊
cool game when i learn her i finish it her easy old memories :)
My favourite part of the game is picking enemies up and use them as weapon
Oh, this game. I remember if fonding from my youngest years. I also remember it being a lot easier solo due to friendly fire being a thing.
my favorite game of child😢😢😢
nostalgia
I loved both the cartoon and the games as a kid. I got a pirated "famicom" version of this game in an asian language, back in 1994 when I was 6 or 7 years old. I think both this and the previous 1990 game surpass the source material. I enjoy playing the games more than watching the cartoon. These games are so original that are even enjoyable for adults. While the cartoon seems to target better for just kids.
sooooo nostalgic
10:02 I love this soundtrack
Why is there a bonus level after beating the final boss?
That didnt make sense to me either, because the game was basically over
Memories
My heart...
Right in the childhood
My childhood & my favourite best game in the world 😊💖💖 I also play the hack with Sonic & Mario. 1st i met
Love that final boss theme, great tune, i had a pirate version of this one in which you can play as mario and luigi, sonic and another red sonic ixD, chip and dale and finally with mario and sonic. Great memories! :)
I luv final stage musiq
I like that they improved the final stage boss with Fat Cat's giant robot. He was tough to beat.
I had it too, it was named Super Mario & Sonik 2.
Sadly, we never got Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 3.
one of the few nes games that i actually finished, was pretty easy game for the time
NOSTALGIA!!!
@ValisHD You could still do an all-bonus-stage run or something.
Pretty well-written dialogue for a Japan-made NES game released in the US.
yes *cough* unlike Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist *Cough*
Podíamos pasar horas y horas y jugarlo una y otra vez con mi amigo de infancia
Oh this bonus stars from bonus level. I remember how i was trying to get two stars with one throw.
I was so good in this game
Memories 😭😭
Bhoot mast game tha bhai 😭😭😭
The amount of cooperation this took on 2 players...cause you didnt have "split screen" so you weren't allowed to have one character go on without the other still being on screen because the one left behind would die... >.< good times
yeah true :D bc not have split screen it was amazing
