  • Jacob Tremblay, the actor behind the iconic character Flounder in the reimagining of 'The Little Mermaid', gives us a glimpse into the making of this colourful underwater adventure. Discussing the challenges and thrills of working with CGI, Tremblay praises the film's technical geniuses for breathing life into the aquatic setting. The actor drew inspiration from the original movie, which he had been introduced to at a young age, using it as a springboard to bring a fresh take to his character. He also shares his admiration for co-star Halle Bailey, whose performance as Ariel left him with goosebumps every time. Tremblay hopes that the film, while a love story, will also inspire young viewers, emphasising the importance of relatable characters in cinema. Despite the pressures, he recalls the on-set experience as familial and enjoyable, fondly reminiscing about the camaraderie amongst the cast.

Producing a film to releasing it takes so much time that the voice of Flounder already has flowered into a young gentleman by the time they get to interview the actors as the film debuts. And it has such a great cast. Jacob definitely gave Flounder justice. Congratuations, team! Saw the film with my family and we loved it bigtime!

      I agree.
I wish him luck for what he does next in his career and for making the titular character in Luca so appealing to root for

@@LeeDanielAying It's so good. I saw that movie more than 20 times in the first 6 months when it was initially released on Disney Plus 2 years ago. The chemistry between the Underdogs is awesome
I Even wrote some fan fiction featuring an original character of mine whose story plays out alongside the events of Luca. About an adopted human orphan who discovers he turns into a sea monster on his 13th birthday. No one, not even his adopted parents, must know. But perhaps helping the Underdogs train for the Portorosso Cup will give him courage to be true to himself

He has STUNNING eyebrows. And hair. I really like dirty blonde hair, I think that's where my Leonardo DiCaprio fixation started. Lol.

He looks just like Gordo from Lizzie McGuire.
