I think its worth pointing out, that this is the perhaps the first time we've ever seen a FNAF animatronic band preform on stage and show us their moves. I'll tell ya what, its just so great to see these robots throw down and rock the house together for a change. Even if it is just for this opening cutscene it feels so very satisfying.
Does anyone notice how around 1:28 when freddy starts glitching out, chica can be seen in the background looking concerned? She also runs up to his side when he falls over. I just thought that was a neat detail... I really wish they developed the characters a bit more
Oh yeah, all the other animatronics are canonically as sentient/sapient as Freddy and Sundrop are seen to be throughout the game. And Freddy does mention that they're his friends. So to her, it was just one of her good friends falling down while performing. Like a real band performing and one of them suddenly losing consciousness. Makes it even sadder what happens to them all throughout the game...
This isn't jump by van halen, it is a sample of it. They took the sounds from that song and did their own thing from it, the keyboard riff is straight from jump though. (so is the bass)
