- Cinderella's Surprise Celebration opened on Oct. 1, 2001 and closed on Feb. 26, 2005. Cinderellabration, from Tokyo Disneyland, replaced this show in 2005. Cinderellabration had some cool elements to it, but I liked this show better. When Cinderella's Surprise Celebration came out I was so thrilled to see the castle used in the show. It was like its own character. Cinderella was on the balcony. Peter Pan was fighting Hook up near the tower. I was excited to see characters IN the castle. I never saw that before. When the show was over, characters (probably not the same ones) would come down to the audience for a meet & greet. That was new too.
In this show Cinderella is having a celebration and shares special gifts with her friends. The gifts are things like Romance, Laughter, and Friendship. The Evil Queen sneaks in an evil gift, and when it is opened all sorts of poo-poo happens. Villains Jafar, Shan Yu, and Captain Hook show up and cause trouble. They are defeated when the gift of courage is opened and Genie, Mulan, and Peter Par arrive to save the soiree.
The song that plays at the beginning and the end is the original song "With a Little Bit of Me." Other songs in the show are: "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", "So This is Love", "Some Day My Prince Will Come", "Beauty and the Beast", & "Everybody's Got a Laughing Place."
Characters: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Suzy & Perla, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Evil Queen, Snow White & The Prince, Belle & Beast, Jafar, Shan Yu, Captain Hook, Mulan, Genie, & Peter Pan.
BEST PART: 5:30 Donald Duck's double take at the mysterious evil gift that has arrived. Donald is quite the ham in this show. If you just watch Donald, you will laugh a lot. I don't know if his antics are part of the script.
I've never seen this beautiful show before in my life I just watch it this year 2024 I hope they bring it back again greetings from the Philippines 🇵🇭❤

I got laughed at back when I was living in Camden at the library when I was singing and some kids was laughing and mocking me and one person posted the video on Facebook and wrote 15 mean comments instead of nice comments about me and I was embarrassed and upset about it no one likes my talent I like to sing a lot while listening to music and singing along and dancing too any positive advice for me about my situation please I need a new friend someone who’ll accept me for who I am and not judge me just because I’m different from other people please how can I find my happily ever after any advice for me am I considered a princess like princess Aurora my hair is naturally curly
Keep doing what you love. People have hurts and hates and they spread that to others. When I was young I did what I loved and sometimes it bothered me when people said mean things, but I realized that those people are probably worse off than me if they are spreading hate. I still gave them love and kept living my life.
