I had a court date, for traffic court, and the officer called me over to a group of superior officers to ask me what I planned on presenting to the judge. When I approached the group, I offered my hand, as I would do to anyone, as a man do.
The ranking officer just stared at me as my hand was extended, like a prick does. Hands up on his vest with this smug, defiant look on his face, like shaking my hand was beneath him.
I went before the judge and beat that ticket, and that's a great example of the moral quality I have come to expect from the rcmp... it takes a particular character to want to join the rcmp, they were usually the bullies on the schoolyard as kids...
