Honestly... I kinda feel like the writers had no clue what they were doing with this story line.... The best thing they did with Rachel and Shelby's storyline was who they casted for the role of Shelby...... Everything else was somewhat of a flop other than when Shelby came to the rescue in New York and helped Rachel with her Funny Girl Audition. There was so much potential for more of them together when Rachel moved to the same city as her mom and it was totally missed. At the end of the series when Rachel gets her award she mentions everyone under the sun in her speech, but zero mention of Shelby. She wasn't even at the awards.... That there just really bugged me.
Great singers, bad choice. If it wasn’t poker face they would’ve been great together, but I can’t help but cringe at this duet. (Although Indina did a great job)
