Just got a 2023 badlands 4 dr hardtop in azure grey, lux package and Sasquatch. Absolutely a dream car. Though I paid msrp I was very happy as it’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a car

There's a reason that's still available...$70k would be that reason. Pandemic pricing is a thing of the past, but Ford refuses to accept it
I see used Broncos at my local Hertz dealership that sell for more than the MSRP of that Bronco brand new. Unfortunately, supply and demand really overinflated the price on Broncos.
70k is brutal. The Braptor was close to that before the increases.
It's gotta be hard Ben to talk about the downside of cars while not getting black listed. Probably a good idea to reach out a little to other reviewers for support and the strategies they use to ride that centerline to not get ostracized.
A lot of these comments are suspect... vehicle prices (no matter which vehicle) have been going north quickly the last few years. If y'all can't afford them, Just say so.
As for myself I placed an order for a loaded Bronco WildTrak with both tops, Sasquatch comes standard with WildTrak, lux pkg, slide- out tailgate, body side graphics, steel bumpers, the works! ..just over $66k with my Ford employee A plan price discount (just under $72k before A plan discount). Just recently received the "scheduled for production" confirmation email from Ford for during the week of 7/17. I'm sure the price will go up a bit by the time I take delivery- that was expected. Been working at Ford for just over 34 yrs, hopefully retiring in a few years this is my gift to me.

@@fernandohmoran I work at F-150 assembly here in dearborn Michigan. Wayne assembly- where they build the larger Bronco & ranger is about 10 miles from my home. A buddy of mine over here told me over there things are improving pretty quick... They're actually trying to add a third shift... getting workers to build vehicles is almost as difficult as getting the parts themselves lol
@@IBleedEvanescence that’s awesome. Is it better to get with a dealership near the factory to buy one or does that even matter? I’m trying to get one but don’t know how to go about it. Sounds like some people are still waiting for theirs and other getting their bronco faster
@@fernandohmoran I doubt it makes any difference about my location. I heard stories of people who placed their orders and soon after got their second confirmation email from Ford stating their ordered Bronco is now in the "scheduled for production" stage with an estimated date only to receive another one sometime after with another date stating it was delayed, then another after that, and so on. But that was before, now I'm hearing Ford is catching up with orders. As I said I placed my original order when order banks reopened for 24 hours on 3/27. My advice is talk to your local dealer and ask what are your options. Some might even have broncos on their lot if you're interested. A couple weeks ago before I got my scheduled for production email my dealer said if I'm interested they have a WildTrak bronco on their lot if you're interested but it's not in the color you wanted. Anyway, like me I hope Fortune smiles on you and you get, what you want. Good luck brother.

According to Ford Authority, a PHEV Ranger is coming next year with supposedly a PHEV Bronco since both are built at MAP on same platform.

Test drove a ‘22 Bronco Badlands ‘Squatch today, just a few hours ago. Impressed. I own a Wrangler. This vehicle is most definitely a better quality vehicle, for less money. I’ll be making this purchase very soon. 👍🏼

I got the 2.7 Badlands instead of the Wrangler. After Wheeling with my Jeep friends.....I definitely made the better choice.

My bronco is scheduled to be at my dealership in a week.I got a 2 door badlands with lux,Sasquatch package and every possible option i could get.msrp came to 78,000.that’s Canadian,they didn’t mark it up at all
70k for a 50k vehicle. Honestly with as much plastic as these have for an interior 40k would be more acceptable.
So wild when people talk about the plastic interiors. What do you think is on the interior of most vehicles? Even most luxury vehicles. I test drove a 22 G Wagon recently and its plastic, new Defender is too. You think just cause its wrapped in leather or a wood vinyl that makes it any less plastic?

I have this exact build in Eruption Green. It's an awesome vehicle. I went from a Jeep Rubicon to the Bronco. No regrets. Though I still pine away for a Jeep. Price point is high, but so is any vehicle in this category.

Yep, and I had the dealer add a bunch like the rock slider steps. Etc… and rose my out the door sticker price to $85,000 before they gave me a discount.

The badlands comes with tires that are only 1 inch shorter than the Sasquatch package, so save your money and don’t get it. Get the manual transmission with the smaller engine, more fun combined with more savings. Do get the Lux package, it’s packed with useful features.
Im so glad i switched to toyota a couple years ago. Had Fords before that all had transmission issues, especially my 2015 Focus with the notorious DCT. This Bronco has already had countless recalls, why add insult to injury by tagging on a 70K price tag? Besides, I bet one tenth of buyers will actually take it off roading.

No air vents for the rear passengers seems like a huge oversight. I guess you can use the charge points to power a small fan… personally I’d buy the lowest level model and personalize it with aftermarket upgrades.

I'm with ya on that buddy. I would take the reduced wind noise with a sunroof, or maybe a moon roof or whatever they call it, and have a back window that rolls down. Only time I'd take the panels off the roof is once or twice when I first get the vehicle just because it can. It is a feature I would not cry about if it did not exist.
They won't want to give the Wrangler an edge over them in any aspect. Personally though, I wish those concept Chevy Blazers became a thing, they looked way better than the Bronco, if they would just make them in manual. Chevy shit the bed when they released their Blazer. What a disgrace.
That's the whole reason I'm buying one. My daily driver is a Murano platinum package, this thing will be my weekend camping, toy. I want to take the doors and roof off and go trail riding, hit the lakes and paddle boarding and mountain biking etc.

Payload is really low. Not really usable for overlanding without major suspension mods.

And that’s without the Squatch package… If he managed to get a fully loaded OB with Squatch for only like 60K, then he got a HELL of a deal lol. I’m actually rather curious…

Not at all! You can’t even flat tow them without a huge risk to destroying the transmission. Mine repairs cost over 6 grand. Not covered under warranty with to miles.

Basically started out this way. Think badlands with high package and 2.7 was like 53 in 2021 now same configuration is 61k. Sorry 61k is not worth it to me especially when I know I can just wait and get slightly used when this hype dies down . Land Cruiser is coming out too plus new version of the 4Runner. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a price drop or popular options become available model wide. Would buy a blackdiamond now if I could get the 360 cam with it, again @50ish.

the prices of cars are so stupid right now...I cant justify spending 60k... putting down 20k to still pay 700 a month for 72 months.... so ridiculous... that being said I really like these.... I just wish there was more options on picking interiors.... I'm not a fan of anything they have... the 2 tone grey and blue or the brown and black or the black with orange stitching seats... Why can they just have a black with no stitching option or even allow you to pick the color of the stitching and color... when your trying to justify your 60k.... you would like to have everything you desire... I feel like i gotta go all the way up to get a badlands just to be able to get the most basic color seat to have to deal with orange stitching just so I dont have to deal with getting an outer banks with dallas cowboys style leathering... pukeee. lol wtf ford its almost perfect... fix these wack ass interiors or give the people options!

If I get one I am going all the way and getting the expensive ass Badlands just because I want the 12 inch screen and heated steering wheel... it should be offered on the lower trims. But that's how they get ya. I am never going to take 70k vehicle on anything a Subaru Outback couldn't go on, I would be happy with a Big Bend and not all the expensive off road parts if I could just get a few of the things I actually want. And you're right, the badlands has the best interior stitching colour.
@@eskimocheeks9911the 12 inch screen and heated seats come on the High and Lux packages which start on the Outer Banks trim, the trim under the Badlands. But yeah I’m with you…. If they offered those packages on the Black Diamond that would be amazing. But they know that’s the ONLY trim people would buy. Sucks they cap them to the Mid package. They kinda force you to buy the Badlands if you want any good tech WITH a good off-road trim. The outer banks is more of a mall crawler.
70K for that Bronco is not realistic. It is not a Land/Range Rover, it is not a Grenadier, it is not a luxury car with all the amenities of a European luxury off-roader........also the Wrangler is a Jeep.......need I say more. Ford and Stellates need to come back down to earth . If this is the new normal for American automakers, then I say bring Chinees trucks over. You will see how they will lower their price to a reasonable number.

At the end of the day it's just not as capable as a Jeep off road. IFS will never beat a solid axle off road without major upgrades. On road performance it's a no brainer IFS all day long. I just think Ford has these priced too high. I get get a base Rubicon in the mid to high $40k range.
