My 06 yz450f had a bit of speed wobble at 80mph but when i changed gearing i moved my rear tire back about 1/2 an inch and its completely gone and 90mph feels stable...
Maybe its just guys with chains to short and the rear wheel adjusted all the way in making it unstable

The steering damper may hide structural problems - not solve them.

If only they had pulled into the right-hand lane when they saw a car coming none of this would have happened. They have probably done this before , got scared and bought guns. I'd have gotten off the bike. At that point you're blocked in. Get off the bike. Guy gets out with a baseball bat in his hand, that's enough of a threat to legally brandish in Texas, I'd likely have drawn (not shot him) because I'm not getting hit with a bat. No way, no how.

Mainly watch this Channel because there was no voice over as some other are too enthusiastic with voice overs but because of youtube you must have to do voice overs. If you ever hit somebody and they don’t stop and you count yourself lucky just remember both of you can be charged for leaving the scene of an accident. This person could have drove down the road pulled over and reported you for a hit and run.

Both parties may be obligated to stay at the scene, but surely not to report the other person.

Vicc has more bike than brains. Easy simple head checks are fine but already flying through traffic cant look where he is going.
Wobble is resonance the same way you get feedback on a guitar amp at a certain fret or turning on a lathe where it starts shaking. Every physical thing has a resonance frequency and when you hit it on a motorcycle it results in what nowadays is referred to as a tank slapper. The way to get out of it is to lean forward because it changes the resonance frequency just like when you move your finger to another fret on the guitar and the feedback stops.

A speed wobble can be caused by uneven fork travel, misaligned wheels, or simply by the front wheel lifting and coming down at an angle; causing the bikes gyroscopic effect to correct and overcorrect itself. Let of the accelerator and lean forwards while having a loose grip on the bars.
He also loosened his leg grip on the tank to look behind him.
Do you even ride? What you describe sounds like a recipe for disaster.
The best recovery I've even seen from a tank slapper is a guy on a 1000cc who pulled a wheelie which ended the tank slapper and then he set the front wheel back down and continued on his way.
@@abikeanditsboy3449 wrong, the wobble gets worse because people grip the bars too tight. Wheelies can help in very specific circumstances, IF your bike is powerful enough to do it on command...
Number 1 thing is to relax, don't fight the bars. Grip as tight as you can with your legs, but since the bike is bucking and you can't grip with your hands, leaning over the tank helps center your gravity in line with the bike's. The gain you get over control far outweighs any additional weight transfer onto the front forks.
But if you want to be a ragdoll you can lean back and throttle out and see how that goes. If I do go down I'd rather it be at 50 mph instead of 80+.

I was wondering when the biker road rage clip (2nd one in) would make it to here. It actually made the rounds of the dashcam channels and a lot of people were split on who actually started the entire incident, the driver or the biker.
When the person edits the clip to _not_ show what instigated the problem it's hard not to come to the obvious conclusion.

You know, where you guys are just casually riding down the road minding your own business and then this nutter comes out of nowhere trying to run you over. When approaching a roundabout in the UK don't do it at way over the speed limits and by illegally overtaking on the left as you approach the roundabout weaving in and out of traffic.
Sensible people do not try to overtake on roundabout, they hold back and position themselves to overtake as the road straightens out.

I've been watching this channel for ages. I'm enjoying your voice-overs, they seem well-balanced. To my mind, stay safe is ALL. Unless there's damage, why pick a fight? The whole point is that you can fly away home and laugh at the idea of 4-wheelers still sat in traffic.
