Kia Ora. If you come back to Aotearoa.. my whanau and I would love to host you for part of your stay, and give you an authentic maori experience. At the marae, a haka and hangi. My boys would love to show you how to do a hangi. Go hunting and fishing. just give you an authentic taste of Aotearoa. Please reach out next time you visit our country.
wtf? there aint nofing wrong wif US KIWI WOMAN sumfing wrong wif u USA DOG
I was thinking the same thing , that would be awesome if you did show the bro how we do for our manuhiri (visitor/s)
This
Yes please❤ He would love this❤❤❤❤
I'm looking to go in a couple of months or so could you host me ? I would like to reach out what's your contact ?
Kiwi girls will literally walk to the dairy in nighties or no shoes😂😂😂😂 thats what i love. There's a time to dress up and time to just chill. We have the girls that love fake eyelashes but most of us are more comfortable just in sweatpants 😂😂😂
You like that? I think it's kinda meh. It's nice to have standards tbh.
@knightofjustice5475 Like I said, time to dress up and time to chill. I went to aussie and my nieces got dolled up in heels just to go to the damn dairy. That in itself screams insecurity, heels and makeup, to the dairy. Not about standards, it's about being comfortable.
@@knightofjustice5475 its always nice to have a bit of both, but no reason to get dressed up to go buy a bag of chips and some milk, may aswell just wear pjs 😂
To be fair, some chicks take it too far and go to the mall in their pjs which is cringe in NZ
@@JayDeeMcMillan It ain't cringe🤣🤣 just shows we ain't about looking good all the time 🤣🤣 no different to not wearing shoes in the mall 🤣🤣🤣 I went to aussie and my nieces went and put on makeup and dressed up for a bottle of milk and bread, I went in no jandals and theyre freaking out 🤣🤣🤣 now they do it and say it was stressful cos all their mates did the same thing, dressing up
Listen bruh I been here for 2years and I been so relaxed you said it perfect its done had an effect on me just feeling safer its hard to explain and the work life balance is on point.
Keeping it real is key. Kiwi's don't appreciate fake. We prefer less makeup, wigs, and plastic look. We like to know the truth. who the person truly is. What our food truly contains. We do not like being fooled. 😂🤣
Thanks man! You'll always find welcoming, helpful, natural, humourous people in good ol' Aotearoa! No matter what ur culture. All the best! 👍👍👍
Yeah being natural is more the norm here. NZ is a very young country, like we only got shopping malls within our parents generation. And none of it has changed that much in the last 20 years 😂 not enough money to develop everything as rapidly as America. Cosmetic surgery is even less of a priority for most. Our cost of living is too high compared to our pay to afford all that. But with less influence to be fake we more value being real and genuine. The young generations are more influenced by American media online so it’s starting to change a bit but yeah In general people are just super chill, not really superficial & don’t try to dress up on a normal day. But thank you for this video 🙏 it’s cool to see your perspective
I’m a kiwi girl and we are 100% natural. We don’t have the media push on body image. My nephew married a SoCal girl and after Trump made president he moved his family to RamaRama in Auckland. Kids are thriving on good wholesome food, no preservatives, we care about what we eat and feed our kids. The kids are learning fast at school and his daughter is even doing ads and films. Without the lechery and pedo activity. New Zealand also has few guns except for hunting deer pigs and possums lol. We tend to keep to ourselves but will gladly help a stranger Hey I’m from Manurewa! Rewa hard bro! Love this. Please come back. Take someone up on a staycation
Also even tho north island is nice the South Island is way more rugged and picturesque Wild country. My Australian partner said there was more shades of green in the nature than he knew existed ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰
So they moved countries because a right leaning government was elected ?? Now that we have a right leaning government in NZ which left leaning country are they going to move to ?
@@henrykirk4457 I’m sorry truly. I didn’t mean to offend. I think the whole reason was for their children, not political. It was about a year after Trump was elected That’s how I remember when 🤭. He had a thriving business there but they were expecting their second child and he had just paid out for orthopaedic surgery on his wrist! Birth is expensive there but free here. Most medicines are free here while some people in the US cannot afford simple insulin. He also enjoys his little hobby farm he was able to afford here after selling his home in Costa Mesa. They’ve 2 pigs, mini horses and 2 tame house cows that think they are dogs. The kids love it. Oh and no biteys or guns ❤️
@henrykirk4457 We have governments that are democratically elected. That is... we go to the polls on polling day and vote our single ballot based on our freedom to vote in a democratic election.
I don't decide who or what election promises individual parties or their preferred nominee is politically suitable. (Clearly some elected in our last elections aren't)
Let's be honest and call a spade a spade and by the way... l am maori and in a few weeks will be eligible for superannuation.
When l hear a question put the way yours has been put on a public forum....one of two things are happening.
People intentionally use dog whistles such as that because it's a form of race bating and is based moreso on the color of a person's skin than it is on the colour of his blood.
While Luxton wasn't my first choice as our country's leader... there are more ethnic minorities in our political makeup than just maori... eg Pacific Islanders, Indians, Asian, Iranian. Mexican, Maldivian etc not withstanding the majority which are pakeha
Our political system is the way it is because for better or worse it's what the OVERALL MAJORITY chose.
Whether or not l agree is irrelevant to me because at the beginning of the day l still put my trousers on one leg at a time to walk the daily walk where colour politics is just another hurdle to get over in life.
By all means vote.
If you don't you're not yet eligible but if you are and still don't vote... you do yourself an injustice.
Oh by the way their a more maiori than Winston in the current govetning coalition.
Just saying.
Have a nice day.
Rewaaa 👐🏽 🇧🇪🇳🇬🇾🇪
The man! Appreciate you taking the time to see what it’s like being in our shoes brother, and it’s awesome to see that NZ loves you back 💯 that’s really what life’s about aye, experiencing other cultures and lives out there!
Wow that's amazing insight.thank you bro.all the best to you from New Zealand.
Thanks for your honesty. You're most welcome to come back here any time cuz 👍
Great work bro you're doing nz proud can't wait for you to return stay safe bro🇳🇿👍
Bro, you will NOT have a problem obtaining a job here driving trucks, plenty of big rig jobs in every town, city or country in fact there's plenty going in Cambridge, tho everywhere, north and south Island 👍🏾
Yeah but nobody wants to live in Cambridge 🤣🤣 it's grimey as hell! Especially with all the meth-heads on the south side! Te Awamutu is a far better choice if you are thinking of living in Waipa County.
Yeh Cambridge is a shit hole 😂🤣
@@henrykirk4457 guess that's the beauty of farm living not city...
They on big Aussie money too
@@henrykirk4457eww, your with the wrong company…. TA is full of low life dead beats
Dinosaur onesie and a leather jacket😂😂 love your opinion on nz. People are genuine over here and the views here are unbelievably breathtaking. Always welcome back
I can absolutely resonate with the change of energy out and about, what I refer to as (Mauri) in comparison to the states and here when I was there in my husbands home state Ohio. Calm, peace is definitely the vibe for the most part here. He resonates with your feelings of the underestimated benefits of feeling less stressed and safe here as a man of African American heritage here in Aotearoa NZ. As for Bike lanes lol I struggled to find a footpath in my husbands home town outside the neighbourhoods (lots of discouragement to be active on your feet) actual supermarkets, malls, wallmart etc way out of town, outside the neighbourhood areas (and trust and believe this Aotearoa born and raised girl walked on those freeway type roads absent of any sidewalks lol) and in the snow lol and at one point a snow blizzard on our way back to the town centre lol as for flavor - he taught me how to season meals incl our yummy Hangi kai (tradditional Maori dish) lol and he and our kids keep the hot sauce aisle in business lol
the South Island is like travelling through Europe absolutely beautiful
What a great perspective brother.. You really did pay attention when you were hear. You got some nice things to say about our little country. Cool video bro..
If you come back and you want authentic māori cultural experience, come to East coast, Gisborne. You won't be bored, trust me...😂 Rotorua is cool too, but its a tourist town so you got the tourist experience and not the real deal. There is authentic māori culture there too, but you just gotta know someone from their iwi. Its a bit "disneyfied" for tourists, yet there is so much more interesting stuff happening behind the scenes with the locals.
In fact there are many tribes/nations in the north island, you just gotta find their connections. Im sure there are some on your channel already.
It would be our privilege to host you, and glad you got home safely 🙏
I told u these colours here popping. Don’t need no photoshop enhancements to make our country stunning, quite the opposite actually and it’s due to the hole in the ozone layer being the closest to us that makes everything so bright. Sunnies needed all year round here for that. It took me a while to understand why videos in the rest of the world be so muted outdoors till I went overseas to the states. Our weather reports come with daily uv index and burn times lol
Twano Whanau welcome u with open arms & hearts. We appreciate all the hard work u put in day & night for our beautiful Country we call the land of the long white cloud. AOTEAROA/NEW ZEALAND. AROHANUI ❤❤❤
Females are a big difference. For the most part, New Zealand girls are modest. We don't do fake. We don't do make up, we don't do wigs 😂 we're pretty natural. We don't flaunt. I grew up in the 80s n 90s and you would never wear a bikini or straight bathing suit (togs) 😂 it was shorts n t-shirts to swim, hhhh... sidenote no judging however you are it's all good 😊 just saying how i grew up..
There's a lot of hot/decent women out there that aren't fake. A-lot....
There are place you can go where every other woman is a dime piece. Genetically our women just aren't it. Particularly in our hoods. If that's hard to hear, I'm sorry.
Awesome videos bro, I'm from Tauranga and was surprised to see it pop up in one of your videos and to see you went up the Mt., our area is often over looked by visitors so I'm stoked you enjoyed your time here, we hope to see you back here again!
I've been waiting!! Appreciate it Twano 💗
Have the best time over in the states Tee xx
Thanks Jalesa 💖 #TwanoWhanau
THIS is fire truth for a comparison , and honest big bro the whole weave/wigs and heavy make up dont really exist that heavy here, but its forsure there
Wow I haven’t been on CZcams for over a year and to see you make your gold is amazing.❤
That was a fascinating insight, i haven't seen anything quite so to the point, keep it up bro, you've got a good eye 🤙
Nz is a hidden gem 💎
Safer. My Aussie mate went skiing in Wanaka, the backpackers played Once Were Warriors and then no one would go outside.
hahahaha from a movie...... shows how disconnected from reality you(or your mates are)
@@treecanopy English not your first language?
@@tjgelliott Ballbag
@@treecanopy it was a serious question. Either that or your reading comprehension has a ways to go.
@@tjgelliott its funny how people like you, go straight to insulting the intelligence of other people.
I'm assuming your comment is a really bad attempt at a joke....
And if not, the dig at 'once were warriors' as a realistic interpretation of NZ Maori, is quite bad too.
You're a Kiwi??
New Zealanders tend to value naturalness. We wear a lot less make up. I think NZ people are quite gentle, but strong inside. I’m glad there were lots of things you liked here.
Kia ora from Rotorua! Thanks for your honest opinions about your time over here. We do have problems but you reminded me of the good stuff.
Most NZ women are more natural in looks and not about being fake, anyone can be fake but not many can be real unless you come to Aotearoa x
I'm kiwi too, and that's straight cap😂
Nah depends where you stay. It's not all cap.
Depends where in nz you live cause they ain't all natural
I'm going to say it. Genetically Islanders and Maori don't really do it for me compared to most other races. There are nice ones out there, but on average, the girls look like men.
I live here, but also hang out with a lot of expats. The difference is night and day.
Even hoods around the world have better girls.
Fuck no the girls in this country are full of shit I fucking hate the people in this country im from the hokianga most girls infact most people in New Zealand are fake as fuck fucking full of shit be realistic
It's true so much people in New Zealand walk around in bare feet and in their PJs bc who's gonna judge you someone else in bare feet? Also we don't wear shoes in our whare/houses bc it's considered disrespectful and we can get our whare/houses dirty
I have just come back to your site, I see you have changed a lot. Nice to hear you came over and visited us , pleased you enjoyed . You must come back as it sounds like you enjoyed. Next time have enough time to do the South Island . Thank you for the kinds word about our country. Stay safe…..New Zealand.
There are big fruits here in NewZealand, but not sold in stores locally...best foods are sent overseas. I'm glad you liked new zealand 🇳🇿 wish the whole world was as safe an relaxing
Thats some good insight, good to see you had a good experience
This was really interesting. The same things you paid attention to and stuck out more would be something I'd take notice of. The taste of food, the colours, how clean the air. Gosh I wish I could visit the states soon I've been in love with your country since I was a little girl reading Trixie Belden books lol. Thanks so much for visiting NZ, kia ora!
If you came in summertime and visited our top beaches man it would a hit different you definitely need to go to Queenstown if you come back the scenery is next level
Try and catch the haka comps when you plan your next trip
Glad you liked visiting our beautiful country ❤❤
That's a real comprehensive review ❤
I've been following you for a couple of years now and I knew that the thing that would stand out for you coming to Aotearoa is the food. I've lived in the states before and that was the biggest thing I noticed in terms of differences.
sizes of food too - like coffees, etc. Everything in America is BIG, BIG. Things in NZ teeny tiny coffees, teeny tiny grocery store items for double the price. I miss American pizza and cheesecake. Good thing is all meat and dairy here is grass fed in NZ.
Wow, really appreciate your honest take on things. Come to the south island next time, it's ott stunning!!
I Love My Country, yes we have problems, just like any other country, but We are definitely very, very lucky here and we have a Beautiful country, and most of us are laid back and down to earth
Chur brutha. Much Love to you. Got a room for you to stay at when you come back next time in Hawkes Bay! If you wanna. The green is hitting so much more here alright. I'd still be keen to come check out Huston some time. Big Up's to you my man. Every one of your vids brings me a lil more joy. Kia Toa Kia Kaha. Churr
Small apples 🍎 are normally brought for kids school lunch box, you can buy larger ones
Think he means that alot of/most of yhe food in the U.S is genetically modified to be larger/brighter "less tasty" than they should be
Wow that's an awesome perspective!!! Makes me appreciate my home a little bit more. If you thought the North Island was beautiful the South Island is gona blow your mind. It's 2 different worlds. I also love how beautiful the green is here, I live in the bush that's how much I love it.
Thanks for the great review, yes we are extraordinarily fortunate for our wee country.
Aroha atu, Aroha mai - Love received, Love returned
Even if you didn't enjoy NZ you couldn't tell. I hope you come back and we can show you a better time
The colour's is even more vibrant here in the south island
NZ exports 95% of it's fruit, that's why fruit is smaller for kiwis. Small apples, etc, because the large fruit goes off shore. Still is tasty, and I'd rather buy spray free and sun ripened on the tree.
Wow thankyou for your lovely thoughts of us kiwis here in Aotearoa😊🙌🤜🤛as you were saying b4 'yesss here in nz is very humbled and peaceful...also friendly...love ur videos already😊Tu meke Lassgoooo🇭🇲
Yeah Rewa got a shoutout :) that was interesting insights.
Legend twano, enjoyed watching your nz series.
Love too see you in Taranaki sometime, appreciate your view on our country.
I live in Tauranga and it is a beautiful place. I see you were on top of 'The Mount' at the end, a truly amazing view up and down the coast.
love these videos, hope u enjoyed our country bro
9hr drive from akl to wellington, and akl isnt the top of the north island haha you can still drive 6+ hours north to kaitaia and cape reinga
It's like 7 hours with the new roads from Auckland to Wellington, depending on roadworks. It takes about 20 hours to drive Auckland to Dunedin
Come to Australia/Melbourne next time you travel bro its bout a 3hr flight from NZ you’d love it
Glad to hear how much of a good time you had Uce !
You should watch a series from New Zealand called 'Kairākau'
if you can find access to it. Shows how it was on the island back in the day with the different tribes etc
Happy you got to make it to NZ! W man
Dinosaur onesie with a leather jacket on and no shoes & socks🤣 yupp the no shoes definitely sounds like New zealand😂
Ditto, appreciate your honesty, thank u ox😘🫶🫠
Yeah, this dude is real. Gives a good description of what he has experienced. Awesome presentation.🙂😀👍🤙👏
Hey from NZ you need a microphone wind muff (Yes it is real and yeah I laughed when I wrote it also!)
I'm a kiwi, and what you said about NZ is really accurate, you kept it 100 didn't glaze us just gave your honest opinion .
Respect u bruv im from New zealand so cool watching your stuff cuzzy
You so right, one doesn’t appreciate what you have at home until you travel overseas. One has whole new perspective on what’s going on once you travelled.
Next time you’re over, think about coming up North to the Hokianga. It’s a whole different world up here, you’ll fit in real well.
Kia Ora brother thank you for sharing your thoughts on our country Aotearoa New Zealand much appreciated
Good afternoon from Papua New Guinea. I enjoyed watching your contents.
Bless!!!! ❤ Family reunions at a marae definitely recommend! Or being, listening amongst māori for revitalisation of the language and the history does break a tear. But!!!, recognising the past to where we are is ❤
much love i appreciate you bro
So lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay here NZ 👍 it's not perfect but personally I feel it's a special place. Come back for longer next time 😊
lovely to hear about my country. Come back again there's more to see and meet more beautiful people. and really need to try our moari kai(food).
Glad u enjoyed ur short stay here in aotearoa ✊🏾
We grow and raise fruits and veges here and live stock ( mostly live stock) most of it frist grade goes over see overseas and we get seconds grade 😅❤ and the worst stuff goes like like making juice or pet food ect ❤❤❤
As a Maori we are the indigenous people of New Zealand Aotearoa 😊 I am sure it's like 9hrs drive from Auckland down to Wellington..we are real not fake 😊💯
It's about 7 hours, depending on road works
Bro So many people from NZ would love the opportunity to show you around but they don’t know you’re a real life ninja 🥷 lol. Hope you get back to NZ soon 💯
Lashgooo we love ya brotha💪🏽
Bro, every point you said is spot on.
Yaaaaay finally you got to make your own "VS" Video the amount you've reacted to now some new reactor can watch this and Canmore inspo to visit our country ❤
Glad NZ could provide well for you..... I'm a staunch Cantabrian so just throwing it out that Christchurch is NZ 2nd biggest city
When you come next time you should check out the bottom half of Aotearoa (South Island) you won't regret it. Thank you for visiting our small paradise. You're family now. So you're welcome anytime.
Hopefully he does check out The South Island in New Zealand.
everyone wears hoodies in winter lol
And “summer” even...
🔥u the man mbro.
Very honest - as a Kiwi, I appreciate it ❤ We're actively trying to do the opposite as you say, though, with the Māori language - we want to add Te Reo Māori into everyday language. Kia kaha ❤
Dope brother keep up yo sht 💯💯💯💯
I drive trucks in New Zealand. Would love to drive in the US, awesome to see your viewpoint.

Hey this was a really accessible and comprehensive analysis! Love it. The comment about women was rough and amusing 😅 what do we need to work on in your view? Haha!
thnk you humanity, I havent been around long enough to point out any major problems
next time i come i will be able to go more in depth
The safety here really does have an effect. I forgot myself a lot in the US, just wondering around like it was the same back home lol.
Tena koe bro. Really appreciate your kind words about my/our country chur chur
Us woman n ladies in Aotearoa, go hunting in the bush, diving in the sea & ready to cook n clean at the marae, so majority of the females here don't bother with the fake lashes n makeup etc, some do both so when you see a chick over here all dolled up, she probably lazy n can't do much around the house, not all but most lol...
That's a crazy thing to say. Huge blanket statement to throw out there. You are saying that most of the women that dress up with makeup and nice clothing are lazy and incompetent?
😂. Ima hit that with a huge "kao". For someone who has the name Kaitiaki, maybe look at your own people when it comes to throwing around the terms "lazy" and "can't do much around the house". Honestly....poor choice of words Mere
@@nzshadow4579 no, I'm talking fully fake not all who put effort into their appearance
Welcome back anytime
Yep NZ dont really care what you wear or look like
Unless you actually dress nicely. Then you get made fun of.
