    Kiwi girls will literally walk to the dairy in nighties or no shoes😂😂😂😂 thats what i love. There's a time to dress up and time to just chill. We have the girls that love fake eyelashes but most of us are more comfortable just in sweatpants 😂😂😂

      @knightofjustice5475 Like I said, time to dress up and time to chill. I went to aussie and my nieces got dolled up in heels just to go to the damn dairy. That in itself screams insecurity, heels and makeup, to the dairy. Not about standards, it's about being comfortable.

    Yeah being natural is more the norm here. NZ is a very young country, like we only got shopping malls within our parents generation. And none of it has changed that much in the last 20 years 😂 not enough money to develop everything as rapidly as America. Cosmetic surgery is even less of a priority for most. Our cost of living is too high compared to our pay to afford all that. But with less influence to be fake we more value being real and genuine. The young generations are more influenced by American media online so it’s starting to change a bit but yeah In general people are just super chill, not really superficial & don’t try to dress up on a normal day. But thank you for this video 🙏 it’s cool to see your perspective

    I’m a kiwi girl and we are 100% natural. We don’t have the media push on body image. My nephew married a SoCal girl and after Trump made president he moved his family to RamaRama in Auckland. Kids are thriving on good wholesome food, no preservatives, we care about what we eat and feed our kids. The kids are learning fast at school and his daughter is even doing ads and films. Without the lechery and pedo activity. New Zealand also has few guns except for hunting deer pigs and possums lol. We tend to keep to ourselves but will gladly help a stranger Hey I’m from Manurewa! @@henrykirk4457 I’m sorry truly. I didn’t mean to offend. I think the whole reason was for their children, not political. It was about a year after Trump was elected That’s how I remember when 🤭. He had a thriving business there but they were expecting their second child and he had just paid out for orthopaedic surgery on his wrist! Birth is expensive there but free here. Most medicines are free here while some people in the US cannot afford simple insulin. He also enjoys his little hobby farm he was able to afford here after selling his home in Costa Mesa. They’ve 2 pigs, mini horses and 2 tame house cows that think they are dogs. The kids love it. Oh and no biteys or guns ❤️

      @teevis3620 Před 28 dny +1

      @henrykirk4457 We have governments that are democratically elected. That is... we go to the polls on polling day and vote our single ballot based on our freedom to vote in a democratic election.
      I don't decide who or what election promises individual parties or their preferred nominee is politically suitable. (Clearly some elected in our last elections aren't)
      Let's be honest and call a spade a spade and by the way... l am maori and in a few weeks will be eligible for superannuation.
      When l hear a question put the way yours has been put on a public forum....one of two things are happening.
      People intentionally use dog whistles such as that because it's a form of race bating and is based moreso on the color of a person's skin than it is on the colour of his blood.
      While Luxton wasn't my first choice as our country's leader... there are more ethnic minorities in our political makeup than just maori... eg Pacific Islanders, Indians, Asian, Iranian. Mexican, Maldivian etc not withstanding the majority which are pakeha
      Our political system is the way it is because for better or worse it's what the OVERALL MAJORITY chose.
      Whether or not l agree is irrelevant to me because at the beginning of the day l still put my trousers on one leg at a time to walk the daily walk where colour politics is just another hurdle to get over in life.
      By all means vote.
      If you don't you're not yet eligible but if you are and still don't vote... you do yourself an injustice.
      Oh by the way their a more maiori than Winston in the current govetning coalition.
      Just saying.
      Have a nice day.

    I can absolutely resonate with the change of energy out and about, what I refer to as (Mauri) in comparison to the states and here when I was there in my husbands home state Ohio. Calm, peace is definitely the vibe for the most part here. He resonates with your feelings of the underestimated benefits of feeling less stressed and safe here as a man of African American heritage here in Aotearoa NZ. As for Bike lanes lol I struggled to find a footpath in my husbands home town outside the neighbourhoods (lots of discouragement to be active on your feet) actual supermarkets, malls, wallmart etc way out of town, outside the neighbourhood areas (and trust and believe this Aotearoa born and raised girl walked on those freeway type roads absent of any sidewalks lol) and in the snow lol and at one point a snow blizzard on our way back to the town centre lol as for flavor - he taught me how to season meals incl our yummy Hangi kai (tradditional Maori dish) lol and he and our kids keep the hot sauce aisle in business lol

    If you come back and you want authentic māori cultural experience, come to East coast, Gisborne. You won't be bored, trust me...😂 Rotorua is cool too, but its a tourist town so you got the tourist experience and not the real deal. There is authentic māori culture there too, but you just gotta know someone from their iwi. Its a bit "disneyfied" for tourists, yet there is so much more interesting stuff happening behind the scenes with the locals.
    In fact there are many tribes/nations in the north island, you just gotta find their connections. Im sure there are some on your channel already.
    It would be our privilege to host you, and glad you got home safely 🙏

    Next time you’re over, think about coming up North to the Hokianga. It’s a whole different world up here, you’ll fit in real well.

    Us woman n ladies in Aotearoa, go hunting in the bush, diving in the sea & ready to cook n clean at the marae, so majority of the females here don't bother with the fake lashes n makeup etc, some do both so when you see a chick over here all dolled up, she probably lazy n can't do much around the house, not all but most lol...

    • @nzshadow4579
      @nzshadow4579 Před 29 dny +7

      That's a crazy thing to say. Huge blanket statement to throw out there. You are saying that most of the women that dress up with makeup and nice clothing are lazy and incompetent?
      😂. Ima hit that with a huge "kao". For someone who has the name Kaitiaki, maybe look at your own people when it comes to throwing around the terms "lazy" and "can't do much around the house". Honestly....poor choice of words Mere
