To me, Stray Kids has the accessible streetwear; NCT has more bold, more daring statement pieces. Both have fashion unique to them. However, I think SKZ and GOT7 took all of the red silk and velvet lounge wear in South Korea. Not complaining. Currently, Stray Kids Ex is on heavy repeat, but I do try to destroy my speakers with Double Knot and Miroh.
Woa, Double Knot is so f**** good!! Miroh is classic that everyone should know when discovering Stray Kids.

I ALSO love the mesh tattoo shirts, it's SO good!! And those traditional clothes are actually high-fashion takes on traditional Korean outfits, though you're also right about the pirate-y vibes due to the accessories they paired them with, such a good detail. Honestly, Stray Kids pull off beautiful outfits in all of their MVs while being mostly extremely wearable, I'm excited for you to see the rest of their releases!
Someone's already suggested God's Menu in the comments, and I 100% agree, but I also would add "All In" as a contender for the next reaction. It's a Japanese release so it's on a different Stray Kids channel (in case you're worried whether it's official or not; it is!), but it's their most recent one and there are SO MANY amazing outfits in that video, it's wild.
Also, quick sidenote, again someone already mentioned this but I.N. is the one with the dark blue hair! Who you were pointing out with the killer tan outfit is Changbin
It's not really pirate inspired, I think it's inspired of Korean traditional clothing mixed with modern fashion. Stray kids break gender rules in their outfits I love it.
@Hello Stanger no,just randomly they like to wear cloths which break gender rules.Felix literally told in a interview that he does not care about gender and just wears everything he likes!
@Hello Stanger yeah, it's with the traditional aspect! i believe some of the tops on the traditional korean outfits are women's(?) especially with the way it's tucked in the belts! (e.g. felix in 5:11)
edit: i wanted to edit this comment because i wanted to specify why i think this is the case
felix is wearing what looks to me is a jeogori but while it's worn by both men and women, women wear it to be cropped(?) high above the waist (felix's outfit here is given that illusion by the use of the belts which makes it kinda more feminine).
changbin (the one in the front at 9:16) is also wearing something similar, but with a men's nobleman's hanbok so despite being the same belted look, it's much more masculine because of his top.
(for anyone curious, the robes they're wearing is called durumagi. probably.)
I thought he was referring to Vivienne Westbrook’s collection from the early 80’s as it was heavily pirate inspired if I remember correctly. This got me even more confused as I totally don’t see that. Maybe I’m just making this up, bc he mentioned Westbrook and I’m way too tired to put the connection together properly.

@@HopeeInk i actually thought about it, and there actually COULD be some pirate/vivienne westbook pirate collection inspo! george pointed out that they're similar because of the fabric used like silk and leather etc. silk is actually pretty commonly used fabric for hanboks especially royalty (during the oldd old old days like joseon dynasty it was more for royalty to wear silk/patterned silk especially those with gold leaf decor but now pretty much every hanbok are made with silk) BUT, leather is practically unheard of lol but they're much more common with pirates! so it maybe could be either a fusion or a modernization

I love how the outfits are "made" to be wearable everywhere. Most music videos have extraordinary outfits but wearing them while performing can be struggle.
I don't know if the concept is chosen by stylist or Stray kids put their ideas to it as well because it is visible how they love their outfits so maybe they chose it together or make it together?

the ornate pieces you were talking abt are actually modernized hanboks (korean traditional clothes)! their stage outfits for award shows for the 2020 awards season were also focused heavily on these modern traditional looks which i thought was super cool since they have such a giant international fanbase

Stray Kids Styling Team is on point every time and you will find a lot of awesome outfits when you check out this group...also in tv appearances and live performances they don't only perform incredible but also always look incredible in their outfits. Honestly an incredible group in every aspect

If you haven't checked out yet, I do recommend you to search for Key/Kim Kibum from Shinee. He's known for his fashionable choices and looks and I believe you'll enjoy discussing his style!
He does have his solo, but because he's been doing so many other things (Shinee stage costumes, fashion shows, modeling, working with different designers and inside SM entertainment) you might just google him up a bit and maybe find something you'll like even more than reacting to his MVs :)

Yes, the whole "Back Door" era, they wore different designs of hanboks (Korean Traditional wear) with modernized looks. The way they pull out modern hanboks are really cool. ^^
