Don't be fooled, this is the sign of a skilled man. Makes it look super easy and completely comfortable talking while doing it. But it is a satisfying job.
No he isn't. He isn't using the right technique when applying and is getting a load of stuff on the floor look at it all by his boots. hasn't even got any protection on the floor so it could stain.

Could have used this yesterday. This part of the job is done now. Better late than never.
It’s definitely not that easy. You’re highly skilled.
And don't forget to leave a lip for the joiners to knock off to get skirting to fit
😂 nothing worse
Ye Muppets are always whinging about something 🤦maybe ye should be more concerned with putting slabs on the wall level and plumb first
Don't they just board over the plaster and caulk in the edges? Swear that's what most tradies do.
I use an old hand plane whilst cursing to get them flat before fitting skirting
I miss plastering. Prep is key. Lovely
When a groundsman takes up plastering 😂
Plumber , gas enginerr here last 19 years , have to do odd bit of plastering , man you guys make it look so easy
How did u get into plumbing iv done level 2 in college
THAT IS A SKILL.
We need more of these plz x
When camera goes off hes flat out racing running around 😂😂
tilers everywhere asking "why plaster the shower?" (not you martin, the builder)
No rush for a pro lol, DIY people like me, definitely rush! And do manageable sections.
Boy knows he’s job ! Fair play son . Make eh av it ££££
You'd better rush, as British Gypsum say you've got 20 mins, to get it on, flatten it & fill any low spots.
Put a bit of dirty water in and you can half that 😭
Throw half a bag of cement in you can set it instantly
Great vid mate , have a great year
Perfect 👌 advice and video thanks
Thank you, I'm fixing a room so this is very helpful
Its awesome to see a plaster finisher. Much respect for your skills with a hawk and trowel
Nice one buddy great job thanks
Love to see someone actually cut the gear off the hawk... DIYers everywhere
It's defintely a trade and an artform
Hi viz and safety boots, must be a site 1 coat King 😂😂
Very nice I would love to see more videos ❤
Takes time to get that smooth it's not as easy has he makes it look 😂
What if you’re in a rush?
You Legend.
Guy knows his trade
Pro tip
Put the spot board nearer to the actual wall you’re doing
Good stuff
It amazes me how most plasterers now feed out of the bucket.
Is this an easier version of traditional hard plastering?
Put on from the middle, go down then up. Only 2 passes, you are doing 3. Try it.
I wish mine went on so smooth and didn’t leave bald bits behind.
No rush on no suction walls but rush your nuts off on a old dusty poorly sealed wall it will dry quicker then you can put it on
Stabilise solution it then neat sbr it. Almost gives you too much time as the sets drag on, but you’re not killing yourself chasing it
Looks so easy when you do it lol
💋🎶
You can tell his a veteran in his trade
His?
@@jamesmcinnis208 short for he is?

Why does newly skimmed plaster keep cracking falling off the wall in massive chucks 4 times in 6 years
So, an upside down dustbin has been replaced with a neat trestle.
Do you keep your trowel flat when you go up and down or do you angle it?
Bit of an angle
It’s Martin the referee
Looks so easy 😂😂😂😂
Easy take your time when you do one wall a gauge, you wouldn't make tea brake with us
When I did this i could not stop the plaster squirting out between wall and Trowel and hitting the floor.
Make your plaster thicker
@JonLakeOfficial probably right!
Always 2 coats of multi skim.
Whay mix is this how you get it thin like that and still sticking ????
Is this a real question😅 ??
Would be more helpful if he knew what a Hawk was called 😂
Americans are like."where dyou put the tape?"
Spot board in a different room lol
1st skim coat? I thought a skim coat was the last thing you did, and there should only be one of them.
Imagine doing that everyday of your life 😢
It's wank 😂
I think the spot board needs to be further away 🧐🧐
You can tell he aint on price 😂
Must be on a day rate
Unders
Move the board closer?
Don’t be fooled, it’s a art……
Lol it’s not though let’s be honest
craft is the word
@@user-pw6gm1tu6q you’ll find Grease is the word….
@@albertfartsteinyou can do it yourself so yeah?
No rush until you realise you’re too slow and it’s dried like the Mountains of Mourne😂!
Drip😂
Not as easy if doing for the time as a novice. Took him a while to get that good I bet. Not something you pick up in a week.
Easy talking zit er helemaal onder
🤣 mate try doing 25 plus bags like we do every day and you’ll be moving a lot quicker
Is that Harry Enfield? 😂
Lance ?!
25 bags of finish a day?hahaha very good
