Criminally underated band
This drummer is killing it..
Whoa, this is tight.
I came for fine slime, not only the finest slime, but what a delivery!
The fastest performance of Performance these performers have ever performed. Glistening is right.... epic
New drummer is killing it. At the Farm was incredible.
Imagine how many times you would have to rehearse in order to get it sounding that tight !!! Just writing a tune like 'At the Farm' is a feat in itself but getting it down to where you can perform it, night after night is truly amazing. ~ Lotsa' talent here. ~~ 🪂🪂🪂🪂🪂🪂🪂🪂🪂
Seems like he may be on witness protection with the lack of face shots of him.
god damn double death is so good
Why hast this wonderfullness only a mere 12 hundred views!!!,
These chaps imo are possibly the tightest outfit around!!,
Then again.............
White denim always was.
My level of nerditude playing percussion no one wil ever ever hear must entitle me to some views in this world and peeps i can confidently say.......seamless!..
Thanks boys!, i hum you an awful lot great production here also
😁😎👍💪❤
That "River>Thank You" transition around 36:45 is mad
There is some Rush in here. excellent
Back at the farm holy crap!!! Awesome!!!
Agreed.
saw these guys last year. Tightest band i've ever seen!
I think many of the latter day jam bands (not going to name names) would be more interesting if they invested in the songwriting the way these guys do. Great hooks and awesome playing.
Wait until you hear how they write songs. Literally grabbing words out of a hat
My Morning Jacket is another one of my favorite bands of all time. “Too indie to be a jam band but too jammy to be an indie band”.
MMJ’s live stuff is v much like this. All about the music & the technique behind it. Playing with electricity. & some ethereal songwriting by the oh so great Yim Yames.
Absolutely
Agreed. Like thee oh sees. i love em, but they are overhyped as an experimental/jam band, especially by their fanbase.
By the way, the drummer is Greg Clifford, he is actually in a Vic Firth video, demonstrating Bill Stewarts technique.
Holy shit these guys play their asses off!
My favorite modern band, reminds me of all the old jam bands with a alternative/soul twist.
Best they have ever sounded. Incredible.
Yeahh .. underrated absolutely !. At the drums, this boy is damn guuuud . Josh stays my favorite for his musicality, his way of surprising creativity being in and out the rythm .
this guy has to be my favorite keyboardist ever. yes everyone else is awesome
So glad to hear them like this again. New drummer is great - a little Moon in there.
That is one beautiful guitar James has.
beautiful voice, too!
I remember the trio in the days of fits and d. That was my favorite lineup. Then they had the pinky man. It was like prog garage rock. This is good too!
Been one of my favorite bands for a while now. Back at the Farm is a masterpiece.
These guys are so ridiculously good, it's ridiculous
Bring back them back for their new LP, please!!!!
I remember I had such a hard time in my life. I heard that they were coming to the DMV area and I went to go see them at a club before COVID hit us. They lifted my spirits so much, it was so electric seeing them perform. I love this band.
Balls man!! Thats what im talkin about.
best band
I might be biased because I'm a drummer but it'd be cool if you showed his face lol. Audio is tight though very nice
saw these guys last night in Oxford, definitely one the best live band i've seen, awesome musicians, yeah drummer and key's stand out
saw them 2 days ago. best show ive ever been to
Genius JP
Oh Em effing G every song is better than the one before.
Just saw them this weekend! I’ve been to a lot of concerts and oh my goodness theirs was THE BEST one I think I’ve ever been to!
Quality...first heard them on 6 music!
Never heard of these guys until I saw them on a lineup for a festival I'm attending later in 2023. Trey Anastasio Band is opening for them! Can't wait for that night!
I'm 7'ish minutes in to this video, and so far, so good!
BEASTS!
Met these dudes a few times in Jersey. Awesome guys and great tunes.
Thanks Drew!
This drummer is fucking tight as they come! Great work guys!
I wish this was on Spotify. The transitions are jus too good :0
Might be the best version of Fine Slime I've ever heard...
I love Corsicana Lemonade but i had lost touch w the band and the album but after just listening to CL I had to get a taste of something new. Happy I did.
These dudes fucking rock🤘🏼
Fantastic band.
This is great guys!!!
Love them💕
These are so righteous, love these guys live
the kid behind the kit ACTUALLY pulls off and also evolves (or at least changes) some of josh block's licks, at the farm in particular. fuck me. not the next coming, but an ample placeholder.
You guys make my days better
These guys fucking rock in concert! We’ve see them in & near chicago for last few years. 🤩♥️
marvelous
What a band, just brilliant
Merry xmas chaps and host. One of my favourite videos of all time
Wow, great set! Can't wait to see you all live soon!
Thanks - been waiting for this one!
Wow, I'm a fan. Great sound!
Fine Slime is a perfect combo of Hendrix and AC/DC
this video is gold
The drummer PUT THE MOVES ON
So Damn Good..
Shout out from Hamilton!
Was a huge Josh Block fan, but this drummer fuckin kicks ass
I absolutely love your sound, White Denim! You guys bring an awesome contemporary rock taste to influences of classic rock I grew up on. I feel this acoustic friendly venue benefitted your resonant sounds too! Keep up the great work ya'll. Much love from Chicago!
Give it up for white denim
hands down the best drummer with bell's palsy
Incredible live band
Keyboard is burnin
Great musicians.
Keys❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Genuine!
please come to Australia
I concur.
Sweatin' his balls off
sheesh that's a beaut of a gibson
Was thatxa bbrrttt 😂
Fucking sick. Every damn note.
Went to see Wilco live in 2012, White Denim opened and was on board ever since!
Totally different band back then...too bad
@@CaponeCraps Too bad why?
Their fifth drummer ill guess. Hopefully this young bloke stays. He is really amazing!!
Unfortunately, they had a bad breakup. White Denim has been through it, unfortunately
@@maxsanchez4006 does the band still exist ?
Sorry for this nerdy gear question but what zyldjian cymbals does Gregory Glifford play on this video? Especially the ride or rides? Thank you a lot!
PLEASE GIVE US YOUR EAST COAST TOUR DATES (Sept 2,3,4, 2022)
What are the cameras even showing??
Wow! Better have your monitor checked out.
What? No dueling guitars?
Genius. Been listening to Little Feat?
Check out their album Corsicana Lemonade, for that Little Feat vibe!
Yes! I was just telling my buddy yesterday that corsicana lemonade reminds me of little feat!
I bet these guys are Rush fans.
Or 10cc
I hear some rush influences too... really alot of influences i have heard glimpses of at least 6 other bands in their catalog since i started digging through it this morning
Is this recording available in audio format... Would love to add it to my collection
If this helps, they've released a live album, In Person, in the past month.
Makes me think of a more complex Brandt Bjork
Is that a slingerland drumset?
Eli VanFleet it’s my 1966 Ludwig Super Classic
Nice! I used to own a set like that too, except made in 1967 & had a white, mother of pearl finish. Wish I never would've sold it!
motherFUCKER back at the farm, this performance specifically... speechless. The talent needed to pull that shit off so flawlessly.
I mean christ alive that might be the greatest piece of rock n' roll I've ever fucking listened to. It's like the logical step in rock n roll evolution. You can clearly see where bands like Zeppelin & Black Sabbath can be traced. Obviously not implying that I know what these guys inspiration is but this is definitely on par with something Jimmy Page could've written in the 70s.
White Denim are coming to LPR in NYC in October! Get your tickets here: www.eventbrite.com/e/white-denim-tickets-62019421760
sounds like steely dan and vulfpeck had a baby
where's jonathon!? :(
Anybody else wondering about the sg on the couch
I love this, it's been fun to see the progression of this band through the years. But I can't help feel like something is missing.....
white denim is so good BUT i do miss that lead guitarist.
and the incredible drummer as well!
@@vdvilela YES seriously
they're in leon bridges' backing band. they actually left white denim without telling james so i think that's pretty shitty
they're good musicians but fuck em lol
I miss them too, but they still got it.
why aren't the keyboardists in synth groups even half this good? i will never go see a show to watch some one hit one of these pre-programmed button doo-dads. Ironically, that's probably what some classical pianists might have thought about the advent of the electric keyboard.
nevermind. it's very clear around 37 minutes that this dude fucking cuts.
he's really let himself go ever since the departure of Austin.
How so? It's made him a better guitar player, obviously.
Band used to be better in earlier incarnations .....
And they're STILL good, amazing! Sometimes you gotta adapt and overcome.
Used to think the same thing, but with how prolific (they always have been) they've become in the past two years, and the depth Mike on keyboards adds, I think this is the best line up. James and Steve are and will always be the meat and potatoes.
This drummer is fucking tight as they come! Great work guys!
