Driving Around Small Town Baraboo, Wisconsin in 4k Video

Filmed on Wednesday, August 16 2023, I drive around Baraboo, WI to see what's going on.
The city of Baraboo boasts a vibrant history, dating back to its early settlement in 1838 when it was founded by Abe Wood and initially named the village of Adams. Over the years, the city saw rapid growth and development, becoming an incorporated village in 1866 and a city in 1882. The late 19th century also marked the establishment of the Ringling Brothers Circus in Baraboo, earning the city the nickname "Circus City" and contributing to its rich cultural heritage.
Today, Baraboo continues to celebrate its circus history through attractions such as the Circus World Museum and the Al. Ringling Theatre, maintaining a strong connection to its past. The city is also situated near notable natural landmarks such as Devil's Lake State Park and Aldo Leopold's Shack and Farm, providing residents and visitors alike with ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration.
In addition to its historical and natural attractions, Baraboo has also played a role in the world of industry and innovation. It was once home to the Badger Ordnance Works, the largest munitions factory in the world during World War II, and it was the birthplace of Cirrus Aircraft, a leading manufacturer of single-engine aircraft.
The Baraboo area is also of geological significance, with the Baraboo Syncline being a notable feature studied by researchers at the University of Wisconsin. The nearby Baraboo Hills have been recognized as one of the "Last Great Places" by the Nature Conservancy due to their unique geological and ecological characteristics.
