I use trioles(triplets) in practice more just to warm up. I'm semi-professional and I realize the triplets is making a key solution. In one super HC band I had, a guitarist after three years of work asked me why you didn't throw in the triplets somewhere, just not emphasizing them as important. I started thinking that way, realizing he was right, and I found some important points where the triplets had significantly improved the gig, and the guitarist was just smiling in rehearsals.
