      I don't think it's possible, I don't have the latest version however.

i still don't understand it.Can you help me out?How did you put your animation in to the blender?

      Before beldner 2.8)
To get the animation into blender for rendering
1)- enter blender and use video editor mode and press add.
To create the camera work (This is going to be complicated in text form but i try) ( I also linked a video in the desc , it helped me)
1)- I first rendered my animation into png seperate images for each frame. (so render via png with your animation program should do the trick)
2)- I then using blender. Created a plane (press shift-a, hover over mesh and click plane).
This next part is about getting the plane the same size as your images
3)-Once you have the 2d square, click the plus hovering along the right hand column. (it should be pretty ghostly)
4)-Scroll down the new pop up menu that has been created and press tick the empty box for "background images"
5)-Under "Add image" click the arrow and then click open image. Open any single image you want from your png's of your animation but just one.
6)-Press 5 then 7 on your numpad, this should align your view directly above the plane and if nothing appears .(if no numpad, use google to find out how to bind the numpad to the top row of numbers to your keyboard)
7)-Hopefully with the view directly above the plane, your image will be visible.
8)-Click your plane and scale it appropriately. (use "S" or edit mode) make sure to be accurate.
Once your plane is the same size as your ref image. We get to texturing
9)- Bring out the right column (far right column with all the options) and click the weird circle beside the black and white board.
10)-Click new material , then click the black and white board icon. Click new texture/material again.
11)-Then click open for the images and select all of your animation pngs and then enter.
12)-Make sure to go to mapping and attach it to the object "plane"
12)-Now if you press 5 and 7 there should be your animation on the plane.(you might have to add a light, i recommend hemi without specular) if nothing appears press 5 just to be sure.
Now that we got the prep (i know a lot of prep, there is probably a easier way but i'm at a loss)
13)-Get your camera to be facing the plane head on, (Select it, use "G" to move it and "R" for rotations, "x,y,z" axis will help a lot with direct inputs like 180 degrees)
14)-Use shift F for minute camera positioning.
15)-Then you have to animate the camera so click the cube icon on the far fight column and you'll find the position of your camera.
16)-Hover over them (location, rotation and scale) and press "i" to enter a frame.
17)-Everytime you move the camera, remember to press "i" over them.
(with blender you can do big moves and the program will just fill the in between frames, so don't feel the need to animate each frame)

Stop. Possible put 2d animation in to the blender with already build location scene?

    • @moooooooot
      @moooooooot  Před 2 lety

I do not think so, maybe if you render 2d animation with a transparent background and import the images into blender then drag them around the scene.
