Plz note how I get progressively more disheveled as the video progresses...lol. Also note that the time on the microwave at the start is 10:30 and 6:30 at the end. 😂Probably the most cooking/filming I've ever done in a single day. Worth it tho. ❤️

You're a trooper Sarah! A tip for yeasted doughs where you want to develop the gluten is to add any fats after the dough has been kneaded enough - it gives a much fluffier result as the fat prevents the gluten from forming long strands if it is added in the beginning! Deifnitely changed my dough-game!
Honeycrisp and Pink Lady are my favourite apples, and I didn't have Food Network, but British BBC Food - watched a lot of Nigella Lawson, Giorgio Locatelli, James Martin and a bunch others :)

Absolutely the best Mac and cheese sauce I've come up with in 11 years of vegan Mac and cheese experimenting. Give it a try!!!
    Nacho Cheese
    480g Hot Water
    55g Oats
    65g Cashews
    20g Nooch
    20g Cornstarch
    20g Lemon Juice (optional)
    10g Salt
    50g Roasted Red Peppers
Vitamix about 5 minutes on high until the sauce thickens. Makes sauce for 1 lb of pasta.

This is my go to cheese sauce - saw it on bestofvegan instagram ages ago, and I’ve since lost the recipe, but this is about what I do. I’d highly recommend!
    Vegan Alfredo:
    Olive oil
    1/2 onion
    3 small cloves garlic
Sauté until soft, but not brown
Head of cauliflower (around 3 cups)
    Vegan milk
Add enough milk to almost cover the cauliflower and boil until cooked through
Salt, nutritional yeast, pepper, dried mustard
Pinch of nutmeg (it goes really well with cheese!!)
Blend until smooth (add more milk if needed) and enjoy!

Awesome! Now I'm hungry! I use a spicy pepper paste on my mac and cheeze and it's so yum! Yay for glass straws! 😊

I tried her Fudgy Brownies which were perfect, and the Broccoli soup was really delicious too. 😋

Hi Sarah! Your channel inspired me to be meat free. It has been 9 months since I discontinued consuming flesh and I feel great!

I brought the mushroom, sun-dried tomato, and leek risotto to a nonvegan pitch in and it was a huge hit! The herb loaded sausage rolls are probably my favorite thing I've made from the book so far, but I'm trying the mac and cheese skillet tonight!

My sister and I were also obsessed with Iron Chef! We used to watch the Japanese version with the subtitles when it aired super late at night! Lol
