2022 Porsche Cayenne

Today we have the 2022 Porsche Cayenne!
This is the 2022 Porsche Cayenne. The Cayenne was refreshed for the 2024 year with new exterior and interior styling, so let's take a look at what car the new cayenne replaced.
Like most people, the outlook on Porsche is favorable. Excellent build quality, reliable and a good interior. Well I definitely wasn't disappointed with the 22' cayenne. Styling is evolutionary and remains very familiar with previous generations. The drivetrain is excellent, a robust 3.0 Liter V6 with 335 HP and 332 Lb-Ft torques, makes for good numbers in a base model. MPG is acceptable for this engine, at 19 City, 23 Highway, making it for a good option. Hooked up to a rear wheel biased AWD system, allows for power to hit the ground well and in a balanced fashion making the driving characteristics sporty and predictable.
The interior quality like in all Porsche's is excellent as expected. All Porsche's material are roughly identical and so this one is no different. The options chosen in this model are a bit lacking if all honest. Lack of blind spot monitoring, rear climate zone and ventilated seats in the front make for this a pretty bare bones car, especially for the price tag it was at. But that's something that Porsche is known for, is price Gauging for options. Comfortable seats matched up to an excellent infotainment system and a panoramic sunroof make up for the other-wise bare bone interior.
The large trunk, 40/20/40 split folding rear seats, optional roof racks and an optional tow package, rated to 7,700 pounds make for an exceptionally practical family SUV. In a world where cars also don't have spare wheels, this one having the mobility kit is a cool sight to see that adds to the package.
