My daughter lives in Watford City ND. And I'm going come spring to see her and my 5 grandchildren. Lord willing.
A great stop, Medora and Teddy Roosevelt NP. With a senior card, the Boondocking websites are less than $10 a night.
I'm looking forward to visit Theodore Roosvelt NP, I'm only 4 hours away after my South Dakota exploration, currently in Rapid City.
What an amazing storyline.
I'll certainly put this park on my list. Actually trying to do all 63 NP. I'm at 25 so far

I spent a month in the summer of 1981 volunteering through the Student Conservation Association working in the south and north park. It was a wonderful experience and our team grew close while we were there. Life swept that summer away quickly and I lost track of my fellow volunteers, maybe they will see this and respond.
