- Do you want to know how to FIX your Fortnite Account Link failed because it's already associated with a different account? Or maybe you pressed skip when you were trying to link your account. You'll have to log into one account and then unlink the account. Then login to your second account and link your account. Then you'll have everything from your PS4, PS5, Xbox, Switch, PC all on the same account so your progression will be linked.

This does not work. Every time I go to sign in on the account that I want to add my epic account to, it says that one is already associated with it. I’ve even removed the restrictions, and it still refuses to let me add my account.

Thank you so much! Just built my first PC and was so stumped on how to get this working. Used a burner email to create the account. Unlinked Xbox. Signed in to the correct account and it logged me into Xbox flawlessly! Just have to do the same thing for PSN and I’ll be good! Absolutely savior of a video 🙏🏾

Ok guys if it didn’t work make a new account with same email as the one you want to connect then remove the account you want to connect not delete use the account for the other console that has your stuff and sign in it became automatically for me but just press connect then your info then that’s it

It got skipped on my switch and this didnt work for the nintendo. I signed in on the switch and unlinked what was linked (xbox) and then signed in through epic and it still says something else is already associated with the acc...

I originally created my Fortnite account through console, so I can only access my Epic account by signing in through the game account (signing in through Nintendo for example) but have absolutely no access to the email for the epic account alone. The issue im having is i pressed skip specifically on switch, not knowing it would create an account for me at all. And it still let me attach that switch account with with the filler epic account to a legit epic account. So what someone with my issue supposedly do in that situation?

Its because you have to remove the restrictions on that account ill put the link up for you
Just make sure your signed into the account you want on your phone after you take the restrictions off reset fornite on your console and following the instructions. It only failed because you already have a account associated with your profile. But if you follow my instructions it will log you in.
